Scene #2855: TARGET: Retrieving Resources

Razer	Razer's arrival at the Mining Station is heralded by a flash of red light. The Red Lantern hangs in space without any apparent aid or vacuum suit. His power ring protects him from the absence of oxygen, the solar radiation, the crippling lack of anything except infinite blackness. Atrocitus desires resources for his great crusade against the Green Lanterns of Oa, and Razer is here to ensure that they arrive. The Confederacy, of course, will recieve their fair share - providing the Union is unable to stop him.
Iria	How is Iria outside without a special suit? A special shield is around her head, generated by her suit. It acts like a helmet to protect her from the vacuum of space and things like that without loading her down. It's amazing the technology they have on Planet Myce, isn't it? Especially when you're an elite bounty hunter! Upon arriving at the station, Iria quickly spots where Razer is coming from and she prepares to advance on him. "Stop right there!" She yells. "You're not taking anything from this spot, so get out of here now!" She scowls as she stares down her opponent.
Razer	"I wholeheartedly beg to differ," Razer replies, voice cool. He glances at Iria, looking uninterested and aloof. "I'll be taking anything I choose to take, and there is nothing you'll do to stop me. Atrocitus' will be done." With that simple comment, Razer raises his ring hand - and lets loose with a burst of red energy! It's not his most powerful strike, more a way of testing Iria. Seeing if she'll flinch.
Iria	Iria does flinch, but only a little bit. Her armor isn't made to be invincible, but it does protect her somewhat. She skids back a little, then draws her pistol. "You're gonna have to go through me first!" Iria twirls her weapon a few times, as if to show off her weapon handling skills, then aims it at Razer. "I may look small, but let's not forget that big things come in small packages!" She then fires a shot.
Razer	The shell pings off Razer's shoulder arm, leaving a dent. He is sent spinning but quickly corrects himself, already leaping to the attack! "That is acceptable!" Razer, enshrouded in a fierce red aura, leaps towards Iria, one fist raised and ready to strike! He's quick and, as soon as he gets close, Razer throws a powerful blow at her middle!
Iria	Remembering things like this from her fighting training, Iria attempts to tighten her stomach and absorb the blow. But the punch is too quick for her to do that. She is hit hard and she doubles over, losing air from her lungs. "Damn it!" She curses, holding her stomach with one hand while attempting to get air back into her lungs with the other, thanks to the built in oxygen generator with her shield. "You wanna fight personally? I'm fine with that!" Iria yells once she's recovered, her voice echoing within her shield as she goes in with a swift kick to the stomach.
Razer	Razer seems to grin when Iria yells at him. "Then show me your anger! Fight me!" He backflips away from the kick, landing on his feet on the outer hull of the station - the metal crumples under the impact. Razer shouts out and charges, putting one shoulder down, and brings one elbow up, aiming to slam it into her head!
Iria	Iria finds her head getting hit hard, and while some might call her hard headed, she doesn't exactly feel that way now. She finds herself groaning and feeling herself getting a little dazed. "Owww..." She grumbles, rubbing at her head and glad to find it's not bleeding, although there will be a major bruise there for awhile. She glares up at Razer. "Show you my anger? I'll show you a lot more than that!" Iria yells as she attempts to leap up and deliver a jumping kick at the side of Razer's face!
Razer	"Then why don't-" Whatever else Razer was going to say is cut off by the foot slamming into the side of his face. Razer chokes on his words and slams into the hull of the station, rolling. His ring flares brightly and tears a great gouge from the hull, slowing him. Razer stands and, from his ring, sends out great bands of red energy that wraps around a section of damaged hull. With a shout, he flings a big chunk of metal at Iria!
Iria	That's a huge chunk of metal. And it's coming right at Iria! She tries to get out of the way, but being in this gravityless space makes it hard to utilize her acrobatics. She gets hit and smashes into a nearby wall. "Son of a bitch!" She exclaims as she gets up, finding her face a little cut up. Thinking quickly, she draws her sword, which has a blade that goes from being a chain to an actual solid sword blade. "You want to play with metal? All right!" She rushes in and attempts to slash with her sword.
Razer	Razer's facial expression seems to say: wait, what? He's surprised that Iria has just come at him like that, sword raised. She lands a good blow on him, too, and Razer cries out. Iria's blade comes free with blue blood and Razer grunts as he stumbles away, hand on his abdomen. "Why- you!" Red fire burns around his hand, pain feeding his rage, and a long red whip erupts into life from his ring. Razer raises his hand and lashes at Iria, again and again and again, the energy whip tearing great slashes from the mining station when he misses!
Iria	Crack that whip! Just not on Iria! Iria gets whipped hard and she finds herself struggling to stay on both feet. She stumbles and nearly falls, but she gets back onto her feet again. "Unngh... this is getting too ridiculous for my own liking!" Iria exclaims as she attempts to rush in and slam the handle of her blade into the head of Razer.
Razer	The handle of her blade clips the armor of Razer's helmet, setting his ears ringing and disorientating him for a moment and causing his scarlet whip to vanish from his hand. He blinks, and frowns. That ringing isn't going to stop for a while, it seems. "Then allow me to put you out of your misery!" Razer shouts. Red energy crackles around his hand but this time it's not a whip. No, a wicked looking punch-blade forms around his wrist and hand, and Razer leaps towards Iria, thrusting the point of the blade towards her!
Iria	The blade strikes Iria and cuts through her armor. She cries out and staggers back, watching as the blood comes out of her. "Damn it... I've been overpowered!" Iria thinks to herself as she goes for what looks like a large cannon. "I'm going to have to break out the heavy artillery!" She levels this cannon at Razer and says, "I'm blowing you away!" Then she fires.
Razer	"What in the name of Atroci-" Anything further Razer was going to say vanishes under the onslaught of Iria's giant cannon. Maybe she really did just blow him away entirely, utterly wiping him off the face of the station. Where he stood, there's only a huge smoking hole leading into the innards of the station. Razer is nowhere to be seen. But then he floats, wavering from side to side, out of that hull breach. His red armor is blackened and charred, as is his alabaster skin in places. The red aura that rolls over his form flickers haphazardly. "That," he murmurs to himself, "Was too close." But he won't fail, can't fail. Atrocitus doesn't take failure lightly. And so Razer draws himself up, clenches his fists, braces himself, and unleashes the full extent of his rage on Iria. A storm of red fire bursts from his throat, a destructive vortex of pure, unbridled anger and hate! Razer roars, melting the hull of the station beneath his attack!
Iria	Iria finds herself going backwards quickly and then onto the ground (or whatever you wanna call it.) She finds herself struggling to breathe, blood flowing down her face and from her injury. Her armor is showing heavy signs of wear and tear also. Yet she refuses to give up quietly. She rushes in with a shoulder tackle, using a burst of adrenaline to show she's serious about fighting to the end.
Razer	The wrathful energy from Razer dies down almost immediately, and he finds himself on the back foot as Iria comes charging through it, before he's had a chance to catch his breath. She slams into him, that burst of adrenaline pitching him back and throwing him to the ground. His helmet appears to /crack/, one of the wings flying off, as his head slams against the metal hull. Ears ringing, burn injuries, surely a concussion... Razer rolls, groaning, and goes to wrap chains of red energy around Iria as he lays there prone - and to slam her against the hull of the station in one final blow!
Iria	It is indeed one final blow, as Iria goes down hard, and this time she doesn't get up. She reaches up with a fist at Razer, glaring daggers at him. "You were just lucky. Next time, I'll finish you good!" Then she presses a button on her wrist device and she teleports away. All the while, she's mentally plotting revenge against this guy for what he did to her as well as for taking the Mining Station.
