Owner Pose
Elise Leroy     There are many unusual things in the Multiverse. The woman that sits at the bar here is not one of them. Brunette, ponytail, wearing fairly normal clothes. She sips from a glass of sparkling black liquid, while waiting for her contact.
Taylor Scott Taylor Scott walks into the bar and he doesn't even look like a business man at all. He has on a pair of blue jeans, a nice shirt, and a pair of military boots. This is because in truth, Taylor Scott kinda hates his day job really, he rather be a normal guy then some mega corporate owner-- but it does have its perks!

He looks around the bar, before his teal blue eyes find the woman in question at the table where he was to meet her. As he walks over, he gives a bright smile, before he nods his head to her, "Hello Ma'am, Taylor Scott." He goes to sit down and extends his hand in greeting of a shake, "Pleasure to meet you."
Elise Leroy     Elise looks up, and lifts her glass in greeting. "Since we are alone here, away from prying ears, my name is Elise Leroy. I am Commander of XCOM." she says in a conspiratorial tone. "Should we speak on unsecured channels, I am Elza Lengar, a mercenary." she adds, then gestures for the man to sit. "However, that is not what I asked you here for."

The woman leans on the table, and rests her hands on the backs of her hands. "I am interested in one of these... what did you call them? 'Armoured Cores'? A customized model to be exact."
Taylor Scott "I'll keep that in mind, Miss Leroy." Taylor replies back to her as she explains her name, including her title, and her secret identity name. Though he isn't really sure what X-COM is or if it has been explained to him, it is escaping his mind at the moment, so he can furrow his brows in his own idle thoughts. "The Armored Cores? Yeah, that is what they are called and you are interested in a custom?"

Taylor tilts his head gently. "What do you have in mind, Miss Leroy?" He glances off to the side as he leans a bit on the table with his arms resting there. "Though I can't make promises if we can do it or not right now."
Elise Leroy     Elise nods a little. "Something light, with a long ranged weapon array. I am a Sniper, but my world's weaponry is ill suited to combatting larger scale opponents... I personally need something that can take on a large opponent on equal ground, so to speak.

The woman leans back, and watches the man curiously. "Though I understand if you are unable to fulfill this request."
Taylor Scott Taylor closes his eyes as he listens to her request. His fingers drum gently on the table in thought, mostly because while PCI is offering three types of Armored Cores to the Multiverse, they got /far/ more then those three in their own homeland. When the dirty blonde does open his eyes again, he gives a gentle nod.

"We may have something like that out here in the Multiverse for buy actually." Taylor says calmly, before he reaches into his pocket to pull out a flat-screen pad, that pretty much serves as a phone as well. Yeah, its pretty much a smart phone. He taps on it to turn it on, before he flips through a few things with a motion of his index finger.

Once he finds what he is looking for, he rotates the image around with a motion of his index finger and thumb, before he slides the device over to her. "That is the Deadeye. It is a light medium class Armored Core. Uses a sniper rifle, along with FCS designed to get some pretty good zoom on the target, however it doesn't have any flight abilities."

Taylor rests his cheek and chin in the palm of his hand as he stares at it, then back to her. "We could probably do some modifications on it if you don't want the standard stock model, but those upgrades can also be done later to it as well."
Elise Leroy     Elise looks at the image, and nods a little bit. "So the stock model is ground bound... That should not be much of a problem, unless I come under threat from a foe who is able to fly, then it could become a fatal flaw." she ponders, then pulls out a larger tablet, tapping on it then turning the image to face Taylor. It's a schematic for a set of leg-mounted 'jump jets' for a human-sized exosuit. "My organization has a technology we call Mechanized Exoskeletal Cybersuits, or MECs... wounded soldiers who can't fight any more through conventional means have volunteered to have their mangled limbs removed to install the direct interface linkages to control these things... to help their mobility, we've also designed this array, based on alien control thrusters... it lets them leap up heights and scale structures."
Taylor Scott Taylor looks at what is offered to him on the picture, he raises a brow. "Nifty." He then looks over to her. "So you guys have cybernetic technology that makes people into like... mini-mechs?"
Elise Leroy     Elise nods. "In a sense, yes. We only take volunteers, and never force anyone to go through the surgery required." she looks a little sad. "That we have to do it at all is a sign that we are desperate, I suppose."
Taylor Scott Taylor nods his head gently and hrms, "And thus the desire for the Armored Cores." He takes back his own device, flipping the image around, before he stares at it. He gently bites down on the corner of his lip in thought, his fingers tapping softly on the table like a drum beat as he ponders over something.

"I could see if we could make something more designed specially for you guys. Maybe with thrusters for short flight or attach missiles." He closes his eyes again gently as his fingers stop tapping, before he opens his eyes and looks at her. "Just the more we have to modify from the stock model, the more expensive it will become, including the more time it will take."

"While the Armored Cores are heavily modular, some parts and modifications have to be designed on order due to their hook up. Not a big deal, but you understand how it goes. Stock what is on demand, special order what isn't." Taylor leans back and shakes his head, "But if you guys want stock, like the Deadeye. You guys could rent a few out for an opt test, see what you guys think before you buy them... and if you like what you feel, then feel free to purchase however you may need."
Elise Leroy     Elise nods. "We are funded by our Council of Nations to help defend against an extraterrestrial threat. Our liquid funding is limited, however we can offer trade of goods and services... I believe you spoke to my Central Officer, Bradford? He has and will remain our primary contact with the Multiverse at large."

Elise taps her tablet, dismissing the schematic and pulling up a mineralogical analysis. "We're still trying to figure it out... but the aliens use this to power most of their technology... my head researcher calls it 'Elerium'."

A gesture, the screen splits, and shows another analysis. "This is the composition of the alien craft hull alloys... we've unlocked how to shape them into useful objects... mostly armour and weapon frames, though we are working on integrating it into our Interceptor fuselage."
Taylor Scott Taylor realizes slowly what the show of tech is about as he chews on her words. He was a young man, but he knew when 'trade' was being offered on the table, when talk of funds is limited. To show him this alien alloy was probably such a trade being offered.

His eyes looked bored for a bit, before they were thoughtful. He rested both elbows on the table, before his lower part of his face against his knuckles as he looked down at the screen. His eyes then glanced up at her. Taylor was silent during her explanation, silent even after the fact.

He was thinking long and hard.

He then goes to lower one hand on the table, as another one runs through his hair to the back of his neck. His teal blue eyes close gently, before he looks at her again. "The alloy is interesting, probably sturdier then our own metals I imagine. Though that require a strength test side to by side and if you guys have this available... you could maybe sheet the Armored Cores with this same metal, just means skinning them down to the internal armor casings and replacing the metal out on the external and internal frame."

Taylor looks down at the display again, as he studies for some time until he talks again. "We may be interested in looking into it as well, but I'd have to run that over by some other folks who are more into knowledge of alloys and things." His eyes then look to her. "But for now, don't worry about trading deals and such. Just rent them for a test opts, I'll make sure you get a fair deal on that, and we can talk about the actual numbers if you are sure about 'em."
Elise Leroy     Elise nods. "We had a deal with another world that used machines they called NEXTs... From what I've seen of your 'Armoured Cores' they were very similar, but much smaller. Our MECs stand at about 10 feet tall, these NEXTs were around fifteen, maybe twenty."

A tap, a gesture, then an image of White Glint pops up on the screen. "We traded material, alloy, Elerium and research data, in exchange they gave us weapons and shared their findings when using the alloy to make..." she smirks at this. "Unidentified Fighting Objects."
Taylor Scott "Looks like a small scale ME Armored Core." Taylor says gently with a bit of a frown on his face. "ME's are all based on speed, with no real armor beyond their armor fields. You get past that kinetic field, the ME AC wont last but only a few minutes, if that."

Taylor may also be a bit mean to those Armored Cores, but he doesn't like them-- and that much is obvious by his facial expression. He taps the table, before he takes back his 'phone' and puts it away in his pocket. "Like I said, hit me up later and I'll see what I can do for you." He then goes to stand up, "We can work on some details then, may be just as easy as I scratch your back with some mechs and you guys help us track down some trouble should it come out here in the Multiverse."
Elise Leroy     Elise nods, shutting her tablet down and putting it back in her jacket. "We can talk details later, as you say." she replies, then flags down a waiter. "Can I have another rum and coke please?" she asks, offering up the empty glass. She glances to Taylor. "My treat."
Taylor Scott Taylor chuckles as he just remains, "Alright, I stick around for a drink, but then I do need to get going. Plan to meet a family and who knows who else at the Magic Express Mountain." He shrugs gently. "Kid expressed interest in roller coasters, people gave her crap, I decided to extend out an invite for some free rides, some extra spending credits, and a chance to hang out at one of my favorite theme parks."

Taylor leans back, "People need to have a bit more fun and lean that it doesn't always have to be business twenty four seven, you know?"
Elise Leroy     Elise smiles and gives a nod. "Make it two, one for my friend here." the waiter nods, then scampers off to fill the order, taking Elise's glass with him. "You remind me of an old friend. He was all business on shift, but off watch he was about as laid back as a deck chair."

he waiter returns, setting the glasses down then scoots off to leave the pair be, and serve other customers of course. "I miss him... damn alien-loving psychopaths murdered him in cold blood."
