Melissa     The warpgates to Rifts Earth haven't all been mapped, and the nearest one Melissa knows about - and is willing to share with just anyone - is still some distance from the outpost. That's fine, though, as she has a number of normal, mundane vehicles to give anyone a ride if they need it. Besides, some may have their own. It also lets her introduce people and get plans together.

"Hey, everyone," she starts out with. She's wearing... dragon scale armor, of a techno-wizard nature. The man behind her is wearing a Dead Boy suit. "This is Tucker. He's going to be my backup, if you have any questions. I've timed this to what I /think/ is the time that they're going to have most of their human troops off doing patrols or whatever, but this outpost here is... in a weird place. It's in no position to move into Lone Star, Lazlo, or Free Quebec. There's nothing here to warrant this kind of outpost, which means our main goal isn't to trash it, but to find the computers and see if there's something we can get out of it. I'll pay you extra if you can get that info for me."

She then gestures to the truck next to her, before hopping up and grabbing the side. "Ask any questions now, if you have 'em, because we have to move out. Those of you who don't want to be recognized, we have some light Dead Boy armor suits in the back here. Find one that sorta fits and put it on. It's the old-style and some of them are a little beat up, so they won't be fooled into thinking we're CS troops, but it'll keep them from knowing who most of us are. They already know me, so I don't care."
Staren     Valentha has urged Staren not to show up with anything too unique or recognizeable. As such, instead of in his mech or powered armor ('enhanced body armor', they'd call it here), he appears to be... a space cowboy.

Those from Staren's world would recognize that he's in a modified and recolored Bandito suit, the eponymous armor of Bandito Arms, and he's wearing a Branaghan coat over it. A few other items are visible -- an old Wilk's laser pistol in a holster at his waist, as well as the hilt for his beam saber, just in case. Over his shoulder are slung a Wilk's 447 pulse laser rifle (looking like a bigger version of his usual pistol with a scope on top -- it's much sleeker than the laser sniper rifle he usually uses) and a messenger bag made to look like brown leather and cloth with crystals on it. Not his usual bag, but having /a/ magic bag is just too indispensible for Staren not to bring one at all.

Staren nods at the briefing. "It is strange. I'll get the data. Is there anything else unusual you've seen about this base? How much resistance can we expect if they changed the patrols and everyone is there? What kind of resistance, dead-boys, psychics, robot vehicles, SAMASes...?"
Shin Tokuyama     Shin is here! He's wearing his usual outfit of one of his white leisure suits and carrying a backpack across his back. He left his bike parked in some long-term lot because he learned better after the Tamiel mission than to risk it getting damaged. So he hoofed it or he rode on the back of trucks to get there.
"Yeah, I have a question. Am I gonna get in trouble if I do my duty as a Protagonist and acquisition wayward objects?" Shin asks as he hops up onto the truck next to Melissa and grabs ahold of the side. He seems pretty laid bak abotu the entire operation. Or he might just not have read the entire debriefing and is mostly here to screw around and be a cool guy.
"Pass on the armor, though." He adds.
Audrey Stormfist     Audrey Stormfist will be present today, having taken up the contract; KIRIN, after all, is a private military firm that offers its services for assorted bounties and hunting, when it isn't directly being hired. If the pay is good, or the matter interesting enough for the Zaibatsu (in this case it's likely both, but Audrey's interest is primarily in the target and their technology), they'll volunteer. Could also just be cooperation with the Flotilla!

The late teenager is wearing her typical dark blue, reinforced metal military-style overcoat, with thin armored gauntlets and a sheathed gunblade to her side. Blue-ish eyes, and short hair that hovers between grey and black.

THREE DRONES are with her; they are black orbs, one slightly larger than the other two, with white lines and lights across them, blinking occasionally. They are magical, but also obviously technological. The two smaller ones (about a foot wide) orbit around the larger one (foot and a half), hovering above ground behind Audrey.

"Likewise, I need not hide my identity. I'm ready."
Maya Maya is suited up in some sort of body armour it's Anakran machine armour and it should do enough to hide just whom she is. She's also got the hulking form of Runner who looks like some sort of vaguely dog like combat unit. However those who can sense magic would know he's not powered by a mundane magical system at all. Maya's also brought a few carpaced armoured and others with her. She'd hired on some old merc contacts she had from the Heratic war that she knew she could trust.

"Pay's been handle Corbin and Moon, the coin's in your account, half up front half on mission clear."

The two mercs nod and one palms a fate card as well, Maya seems ready.
Valentha Summers     Valentha arrives rather unrecognizable. She's added an ENORMOUS cartoonish beard and mustache and is wearing typical street clothes, hair tucked almost completely down her shirt and covered by a jacket's hood. Only her ancient goggles complete the disguise. It's hard to say if the beard and mustache is real or fake, and her personalized stuff is nowhere in sight. In fact she came on one of Melissa's spare vehicles and is carrying a Wilk's laser pistol in one hand and a revolver in the other. And, of course, she's actually wearing the goggles.

    That's... quite a disguise.

"Staren can handle the computers far better than I can. Save for simply hauling the mainframes out wholesale, that is. What do you know about the outpost itself? Anything about its layout or construction worth knowing about it?"

She makes good on the available suits, if only to add additional armor and obfuscation. The RIDICULOUS GREAT BEARD AND MUSTACHE that covers most of her face remains in plain view.
Starbound Flotilla     The STARBOUND FLOTILLA are here, in their standard Durasteel exploration equipment! Moonfin, the fishman, is in elaborate full-body durasteel armor that looks like a powered cross between a diving suit and a samurai's armor, glowing cyan at the faceplate. Biteblade, the humanoid plant, is in durasteel plating with elaborately carved wood and bone ornaments over glowing powered components that glow an intense green. Pavo the bird-girl wears a pirate-aesthetic set of mesoamerican-style armor, with yellow bands of energized fabric linking the pieces and powering them. Albert the monkey-man is wearing elaborate dystopian commando armor reconstructed with a 'rebel spy' aesthetic: A sleeker faceplate, a slimmer form, and a more chaotic design that integrates thin, resilient plates of durasteel, and lines of bright white. George (just plain human) wears a set of futuristic EVA-combat and exploration armor in a suit that glows a gentle red at the faceplate. Seft, the robotic Flotilla member, is wearing full-on medieval knight armor with a soft energized blue glow below the plates on her body, and especially around the eyes. Each has a heavy industrial-yellow two-pronged plasma-cutter-like tool strapped to their side, a Matter Manipulator.

They're along for the ride, jabbering. Pavo speaks up first, javbing a finger at Shin. "Aye, me question's over with Homeless Fist over there. We clear to steal anything that ain't a computer, cap'n?"
"Curious. Are they likely to accept offers of surrender? I was informed that there may be elements of brainwashing, and need to know if it is moral imperative to permit surrender or if immediate escalation is necessary." Seft speaks up, with a few curious beeps.

They're not disguising anything. The ones not talking to Melissa will, of course, sit around jabbering with the others...
Zwei     Info gathering is more Weiss' specialty than Asche's, but Zwei knows enough about this particular world to keep the combat Armiger on station anyways. Orbit isn't really a viable platform to wait, so teleporter will have to do in a pinch. Weiss seems to have at least obliged the idea of blending in (as she is usually pretty prone to), though rather than taking one of the Dead Boy suits and physically putting it on her, she's been studying them and reconstructing one from scratch for a little while so it fits perfectly and at least looks new. Her first priority will be updating it to the newer pattern once she sees it however. She snaps off a facetious kind of salute against the skull-faced helmet. "Roger roger!" Her voice is alarmingly deep and male. "Locate the physical hardware and I'll bust it wide open for the rest of us. I have heavy firepower waiting on command in case we need it."
Staren     Staren just... stares for a bit at Valentha. Then hmphs when Seft asks about surrender and crosses his arms as he looks to her. "If you're not human or you use magic, they'll just kill you. Maybe keep you alive long enough to interrogate if they think they need to and can do so safely. That said, if /they/ surrender... I dunno. We might be able to turn them, if we can convince them their big boss has lied to them about the outside world.
Staren     After a moment, Staren comments, "I guess they might mistake you for a cyborg." to Seft, specifically. "Glitch bodies are kind of a weird design, but maybe they'll think you came through a rift from Russia or something."
Guest Madeline     Madeline showed up, of course... and she showed up in her Warstrider, the Radiant Empress. She apparently doesn't care about people tracing things back to her! She didn't bring any troops though, just her Warstrider. It's pretty distinctive... but maybe she doesn't need to worry, because just realizing it is there takes an effort of willpower. Apparently she has a Stealth Charm Circuit active which erases its presence from the mind's eye.

"I have no further questions, but we spoke on this topic earlier," Madeline states in reply to Melissa, moving the Warstrider forward at a casual gait to keep up with the convoy now.
Valentha Summers     "They are unlikely to surrender to us. But they are soldiers, and will likely retreat and call for backup if overwhelmed. Surrendering to them is ill-advised, and I will NOT permit any of us to be captured. If you can force them to surrender though, by all means. The less blood shed for any cause, the better."

She shakes her head. "The Coalition States are expansionist human-supremacists who barely even tolerate humans who've mutated slightly in front of them and gained psionic abilities. Magic, the supernatural, and 'aliens' are not accepted."
Zwei "Neither of those things are an issue here. I can't use magic and I can pass for human pretty well by design. If they surrender to us though . . ." Weiss pauses for effect more than from a need to think. "How likely do you think they are to actually do that, and who's responsibility is it going to be if they do?"
Starbound Flotilla     "Floran not sssurrender! We make badguy sssurrender, maybe. Sssometime. Depend." Biteblade speaks up, laughing at Staren and Val. She does not seem fazed by the weirdness of the disguise. "Floran, very hard for capture. Remember?" Staren may remember that particularly.

"Are you having some kind of psychological breakdown?" Is all Moonfin says, while staring at Valentha. Then back to Melissa. "She has command of the matters of prisoner handling. I leave such discretion to her, though we are capable of handling the matter temporarily if necessary. If it is not, we shall not, and will act with ruthlessness."
Valentha Summers     "Whatever DO you mean, my very fishy friend?" Valentha asides to Moonfin, whilst boasting the biggest shit-eating grin this side of the Solar system.

"Stylish outfits by the way. All of you. I approve." This is delivered to the entire Flotilla as Valentha checks over her gear.
Melissa     As the group goes off, Melissa answers questions. "If any of them surrender, you can take them back for interrogation or whatever. I don't care. I don't really have any issues with the people, I'm not going to kill them out of hand. It's not really likely though... and most of the troops we'll see are probably going to be skelebots, who don't really think anyway. One of the odd things about this place is that there aren't a whole lot of humans present anyway. Some dog boys though..." She shrugs. "Take whatever you want, but dibs on any power armor. I wanna check it out to see if it's worthwhile first. With any luck, we can all take something home."

She glances to the other questions. "We don't need a complicated plan here, don't worry. The layout of this place is pretty simple. You'll see."

And indeed it is simple. Of course, the perimeter is still locked down by sensors and the like, but when Melissa said 'outpost' she really meant it. Some of the 'buildings' are glorified tents, with a quickly-raised set of plastic walls that look flimsy. Others are more secure, but they're all very new and still under construction. The encampment is largely patrolled by several units of skelebots - robotic beings that are, like their name suggests, skeletal in nature. This isn't to say no humans are present, but they're a smattering of Dead Boys standing guard at each of the two entrances. Most of the 'buildings' appear to be simple warehousing or barracks, but a far more secure and tough-looking spire is obviously the communications outpost, and a large bunker-like structure is nearby, with a series garage doors.
Maya Maya was ona world that might have more magic to tap on than Sepeterra. Maya's two hires could feel it too but they get the deal, smash grab get the info, maybe pull some sweet alien tech that doesn't use magic and get the hell out.

Maya seems ready in her suit of armore she looks to Valentha and nods for a moment.

"I also have non lethal means to deal with and I get it.

"Bad news but and so mostly drones Got it, Runner will have fun with those. Corbin? Moon? Cloak cards."

The cards all three are holding are rised there's blue fire leeching form all theee of them and they start to vanish form sight befor ethey move in. She oes see that there are skelebots, drones which no real wil of their own. Runner also cloaks too. She gets the idea they need to wreck the hangers abilities to deploy their units and she's got an idea.
Shin Tokuyama     "Yo driver!"     Shin slams his hand against the side of the truck a few times, "Pedal. Metal. Fucking do it! I wanna punch some people and acquire some treasure," The Combat Vagrant calls as he rides along the side of the truck. His left hand starts to glow with a red energy as he gets amped up and ready for battle.
"Got it. First dibs on power armor. I want first dibs on anything related to punching any punchier or kicking and more kicktastic."
He keeps hitting the side of the truck, "Dooooo iiiiit! What are you, following posted traffic signs?! Ram the damn gate!"
Starbound Flotilla     "You are, like, one hundred percent less uncannily robo-hot when you use that voice." George says to Weiss, distractedly fiddling with his suit, in a tone that makes it clear he's not being serious even in the least or even paying attention. "Just sayin'." And then, Staren! "Hah! I could fit right in, before murdering them. But nah, that'd involve me stickin' my neck out way too much."
"We will breach main entries. Our team will focus on knocking out communications. Staren. Determine the location of the information. The rest of us will destroy or take the rest." Albert grunts, standing now. "Armor-piercing tactics. Focus on joints. Lock and load."

Assuming Shin's ramming tactics work, the Core Fleet immediately books it out of the vehicle, brandishing their weapons. With a series of IR SMOKE GRENADES launched from his GRENADE LAUNCHER, Albert immediately attempts to lay a disorienting path to the communication tower, which the Starbounders hope to pursue. Ideally this will hide them from the skeletal robots and let them make a mad dash for the building.
Staren     Knock down the door seems to be the order of the day. Staren doesn't have stealth on him, and neither do most of the rest of them. Staren nods, and reaches into his bag, grunting as he pulls out what looks like a small, multitube bazooka. "Urgh this is heavy..." Staren nods to George, "Got it... woah!" He stumbles and drops to his knees, then opens the viewfinder and reshoulders the launcher, taking aim at the front gate and firing the dumbfire plasma minimissiles, then dropping the launcher and running with the Starbounders.
Valentha Summers     When there's a moment, Valentha offers anyone interested in some enhancements to get some skin on skin action going - touching her neck or shoulder with a finger will do for instance. Or anywhere the armor's not too thick. She hasn't put much of the dead boy armor on yet - the helmet still dangles in midair, suspended by a spell.

Anyone who gets close enough will be in for a surprise as she starts chanting and channeling enough magical energy to start glowing. The spells are Armor of Ithan, Supernatural Strength, Supernatural Endurance, and Supernatural Speed. Multiple times over to handle anyone who wants it. The power flows out throught he touch, spreads through the body like an invigorating flame, and settles in, while the Armor of Ithan provides an invisible barrier against harm that will soften blows immensely.
Zwei     After brief consultation over radio, it seems to Zwei that it'll make everyone's lives a little bit easier if they cut off the outpost's ability to call for backup. As podunk as it may be, the Coalition is a big deal militarily, and it's not impossible they too might have something beefy on station. Everyone else seems pretty adamant that they want to make some noise.

Weiss engages her own stealth systems after Maya. They're much more comprehensive than typically encountered in technology based worlds, involving no ripple or glass effect and drastically reducing sound and air disturbance. They have zero applicability against magic, but since the Coalition fears, distrusts, and generall hates it, Zwei feels pretty confident Weiss will go unnoticed for a while.

She attempts to make it quick, crossing as far as she can into the camp using physical movements just below the threshold of what would cause dramatic, visible effects on the surrounding environment. The closest she can get to the spire, she deploys her own emitters; generally crude affairs that garble radio transmission by filling the air with random noise on the same bandwidth, but they're quick to build and easy to hide.
Audrey Stormfist     Audrey has little to contribute, besides getting in slash on the truck, with her three drones following, occasionally pulsing or humming, but not exactly doing much otherwise.

She would turn to look at George and Seft, though. "I'll secure loot if you can carry it. Your Matter Manipulators are too handy an advantage to pass on in this regard." Seeing as how she's not opposed to the front gate plan, one assumes she's in for that.
Starbound Flotilla     "Floran go fasssssssssssst!" Biteblade was the one who stacked up on the Core Fleet's share of Valentha Summers' magic. If the gate can be breached by Staren and Shin's tactic, the Floran will be the one who madly dashes through the smoke, hunting and biting the shit out of absolutely anyone in the hopefully smoke-laden path between the breach point and the communications spire. Her POWER DAGGERS will make her tactics focused on hunting down anything that gets into the smoke, pouncing, stabbing, and eating actual flesh chunks out of it.

Seft gives a quick nod on her way out of the truck. "Affirming. Please take these. They are beacons. Place them on materials you wish for us to collect as soon as possible. One of our members will be there to collect them." She hands off, from her matter Manipulator, a set of little wireless beacons, before rushing out into the outpost!
Guest Madeline     Reviewing her options, Madeline considers what she can do here. She has a lot of options, but in the end she realizes that the simplest, most efficient means of doing this is to... leave her Stealth Circuit active and just spend a little of her power to add in some movement. So the effectively-invisible giant robot responds to the idea by doing a running leap, soaring over the perimeter and landing with a shudder of ground inside the compound, with two large pistols in hands.

She doesn't actually shoot yet. She draws a bead on some of the storage sheds first, starting to build up a 'charge' of essence on the guns.

'NOVA SHELL ORDNANCE LOADED,' the AI chimes, with Madeline drumming her fingers. "I'm sure there's a bigger fish here. We just need to find them. Then..."
Melissa     Zwei, Maya, and the Flotilla seem to be trying to get in fast without being noticed, and Madeline's Warstrider lands in the middle of everyone with all of them derping around and wandering around the feet without noticing yet. This is because none of the people here have the will to actually resist that sort of compulsion to not notice, so the SEP field is going strong, and the tech can't catch Zwei. All that happens is that near one of the temporary structures, a doglike creature perks up and starts sniffing the air... ignoring the IR smoke that suddenly blooms in favor of trying to figure out where the scent of magic is coming from.

Most everyone gets a pretty big distraction when Tucker shouts, "AWWWWW YEAAAAAAHHH!" and just goes full throttle. Melissa rolls her eyes and leaps off, charging in as well and... tearing a Skelebot in half bare-handed, almost boredly. They aren't very strong, though, so maybe this isn't as impressive as it seems. It's a good distraction for the team that is starting to foul up the comms tower, that's for sure.

The truck Tucker is driving smashes into the gate and explodes into a fireball, though. That happened, but Tucker is screaming in joy, not pain, so maybe he's okay?

As for the enemy, the Skelebots start firing, but the IR SMOKE is making it hard for them to aim anything. The Dead Boys actually seem competent, calling for help and motioning at the Dog Boys nearby, who gather up behind a man in a spiked helmet, forming into ranks of two apiece. Maya and her crew have a chance to disrupt things, though... because while Skelebots are marching out of the warehouses, it's the hangar that needs attention, the doors opening to reveal a large tank of some sort, and several SAMAS power suits. They look MUCH more sleek and a bit larger than the ones Melissa fields, but it's obvious that this is a skeleton crew(no pun intended) because there are only two of them so far.
Starbound Flotilla     "Enemy armor at the hangar, I need heavy fire on that /now/!"
"Warning. Infantry sighted at the warehouse."
"Beasts rise to the call of an officer. Identifying VIP target."
"Avast, mateys, we got ouselves a shot at the tower, full sail ahead!"
"Chargin' on comms, let's get 'em!"
"Floran go fight dog massster! Floran EAT DOGSSS!"

That's the radio chatter coming out of the IR smoke. We'll see more of what the Core Fleet of the Flotilla itself does in a moment.
Starbound Flotilla     Albert is the one who leaps into cover, possibly somewhere on or behind Madeline Vance's feet, and puts his grenade launcher away, instead drawing a heavy ROCKET LAUNCHER designed for anti-vehicle matters. He begins unleashing a volley of rockets on the emerging heavy armor, intending to daze and disorient them at the chokepoint for easier handling by others!
Starbound Flotilla     Seft takes the lead with Biteblade for a moment, breaking off primarily to engage the robotic threats. She feels pain as much as they do, which is to say, not nearly as much as a human does, and she draws her POWER BATTLEAXE without hesitation, striking out to get between the Core Fleet and the warehouses to handle that main rush.
Valentha Summers     Somewhere in the middle of all this, Valentha Summers has utterly disappeared. Literally, she is nowhere to be seen. And that's just the way she likes it.

Because it means she can dash at amazing speeds, bolstered by Fly as the Eagle and just leap-skipping over some territory, for the bunker. The only sign of her presence is the occasional ripple from a TK 'bolt' fired from her revolver at a Skelebot with ruthless intent... if not the -best- aim.

This is not likely to help her for long though, not with Dog Boys and a Psi-Stalker present. The element of surprise will only serve to throw off humans at best.

    And probably not for long.

She doesn't simply wait and stand there. Instead...

Instead, she focuses for a moment on something nearby. A few seconds pass, there's a ripple of blue around her body... WHOOOSH.

She's gone. Only to reappear, no longer invisible, on top of the tank.

"No, you guys really should all stay where you are."

The Techno-Wizard pulls out what looks like a gun with a big, comically wide barrel... and hits the trigger. It's not a FIREARM though.

A glob of sizzling blue flies out, hits the ground, spreads out... and turns everything very, VERY gooey. It's a CARPET OF ADHESION GUN!

That'll hopefully make things tough for anyone to employ that tank or SAMAS.
Audrey Stormfist     Once the truck crashes through, Audrey hops off; her sights set on the warehouse, she places her hands behind her back and just takes a casual stroll through the smoke cloud and gunfire. The reason for this is not her own fearlessness, but faith in the toys she brought along.

The three dones whirr to life, magic bleeding out of Audrey and into the three devices. The larger drone, with the smaller two orbitting it, takes to the battlefield towards the warehouse, large enough that getting a shot on Audrey while she's behind all three of the orbs is going to be somewhat problematic (but not impossible, if the infantry focuses).

One of the two smaller drones produces a PROTECT barrier, a shield of white and blue hexagons that shot slam into and crack; its orbit changes abruptly to intercept incoming shots. The second small drone glows an ominous red and black, and then lets loose a powerful laser barrage towards the entirity of the infantries, one laser a piece-- and yes, that's a lot of bright red and black lasers. Even as that drone is shot (and it is hit, multiple times), its sparking and damaged frame is suddenly bathed in green and blue light, as the first drone throws a healing spell on it.

The larger drone pulses once, and becomes coated in a barrier of green-ish hexagons, but does not actually do anything else.
Guest Madeline     And the Radiant Empress... remains still. The others are handling the firepower, and Madeline is still drumming fingers... eventually leaning on the console. Idly, she taps at the crown on her head, playing with the sleeping Abstractum out of apparent boredom. Of course, externally it just means the Warstrider is /sitting/ there.

"Come on, come on," she mutters irritably. "Don't make this trip entirely worthless."
Starbound Flotilla     Moonfin, Pavo, and George make up the main forward-pushing fighting force. Moonfin functions as their tank, using his POWER KATANA to deflect oncoming fire, if there is any, while George and Pavo draw their own weapons -- a long-range heavy combat shotgun and a hefty Laser RCW rifle (it looks like a tommygun) and begin blasting with intent to keep the Dead Boys in cover where possible. They're making a solid, intense effort to get to and breach the comms tower. Is there a blast door? Locks? Whatever it is, the trio are going to do their damndest to get to there, and George will deploy and detonate bombs to try to breach it. If not, well, they'll just rush inside.
Shin Tokuyama     As Tucker slams the vehicle into full throttle, Shin howls in glee and climbs to the roof. He begins sing-screaming in Japanese some random hot-blooded song:
"Push on to tomorrow! <Crash the dreams!> And spirit in your fists <Yeah>!"
As the truck hits the fence and explodes, he jumps off and rolls along the ground. Hopping up to his feet, he takes a ready stance.
"Alright you comically xenophobic, poorly introduced antagonists! I have a heart full of dreams and a fist full of whoopass! Who wants some?"      And then, in true kung fu tropeyness, he waits for guys to come fight him one at a time.
Starbound Flotilla     Biteblade wants to fight Dog Boys. She REALLY wants to fight Dog Boys. When she hears about beast mastery going on, she immediately stops zipping around with her knives and instead turns on the spiky-helmet fellow. "FLORAN EAT DOGS, SSSTEAL HAT!" She cries, using Valentha's copious boosts to immediately attempt to charge down, pounce, and repeatedly stab the officer(?) and any assailing dogs. She will also attempt to bite meat chunks out of them to power her CANNIBALISTIC REGENERATION.
Maya Maya is hoping she can do a good job to help set things up. While Corbin and Moon are not as strong as her companions from before she unified she had worked with them before. They are also reliable mercs who have a standards line of human decnay they avoided the rampant slave trade back in the day. She can trust them and they keep moving. Maya pauses at the Dogboy, oh crap. She's likely been found out if it's anything like a normal dog? They can ferret out magic. She makes reayd ot try and deal with them. She is way of the helmeted guy however she's going to try to get into the garage with plans top wreck the enrace, her teams have enough magic and explosives to do it if they got to.
Zwei     With a dozen Elites on hand to provide immediate firepower against the Coalition forces marshalling to defend their tenuous holdings from the unexpected assault, Zwei assesses little to no need for Weiss to jump into the fray and help them out. She is instead motivated by the chance to get her hands on as much data as possible before anyone else can, and so goes for the more heavily defended bunker, expecting the flotilla to make short work of the tower.

Maintaining stealth isn't particularly draining, and so she keeps up the cloak for as long as it takes to skirt through the minefield of skelebots and Dead/Dog Boys. She quickly drops the idea of trying to sneak past when someone comes out due to how long it'll take, and hacking the doors open for the fact that even done subtly, anyone can immediately tell what happened with their eyes, not to mention the even more obvious nature of blowing it open with explosives.

To that end, she employs her seldom seen close combat weapon; a single sided blade using Rydberg particle lasing to essentially have an edge tapering to less than the width of an electron. Finding a choice place on the roof that'll lead into a more rearward room below, she jams the invisible handheld weapon into the fancy MDC materials that probably comprise it, employing her prodigious superhuman strength to excavate a small opening through it and drop inside, probably killing anyone inside the particular chamber she ends up in to prevent them from hitting an alarm somewhere.

The moment she's inside, she begins scanning for all electrical systems she can find, pulsing her sensors through as much wall and floor as she can to search adjacent rooms for anything that looks like it might be a storage drive.
Staren     Staren takes the magic enhancements. Who knows what he'll need to do?

Speed is immediately helpful, as he dashes through the IR smoke, making his way to the comm tower. It's close to the bunker and will let him move /sort/ of unseen, right? He mentally cringes slightly when he sees the two SAMASes. He feels so weak out of power armor. But his allies will be able to handle them, he reminds himself. After running through the IR smoke as far as he can, he's faced with... Skelebots. That's kind of a problem. He tries to use the smoke for cover, leaning out with his laser rifle...

And then Zwei lands on the roof and starts cutting in with her advanced technology. Well, Zwei can computer about a million times better than him, so he won't bother going there.

He /will/ bother heading back to the comm door that George is trying to blow open. If that works, he'll head in and look for computers. If it doesn't... he'll attempt to understand if the door mechanism has any weak point to shoot, and if not, he'll start trying to pry the keypad or whatever open to hack.
Melissa     The adhesion bomb slams into the SAMAS and the tank, but they're spread out enough that the other SAMAS is left alone, and rapidly turns his rail gun toward the intruders, firing several bursts while zipping out of the bunker. That's just one though... and the laser fire from Audrey means that the power armor actually has to take cover and pick his shots, acting intelligently rather than plowering through. Between Audrey and Albert, a wing on the Samas is already smoking and destroyed, the armor veering off and stumbling before finding a good vantage to take some shots back.

The Skelebots are actually pretty dangerous when they shoot, but they're REALLY dumb. Blasting through them is relatively easy, and the IR Smoke gets some /normal/ smoke added to it when a laughing Tucker walks out of the wreckage of the truck. He is literally on fire, and in another moment, so are several Skelebots, as he starts unleashing blasts of flame. This makes it even easier for Staren to cut through, and leaving Shin to handle... the Dead Boys?

The Dead Boys look at one another, look at Shin, and then open fire with GUNS. This isn't martial arts! What's their problem? THey're close enough that Shin can probably punch them into submission anyway though. He just might get shot is all.

Maya and Biteblade go after the Psi-Stalker and Dog Boys. Turns out, though they CAN sense things, they're... ill-prepared for a fight, to say the least. Yelps and snarls sound out as the dogs try to pile on Biteblade who is EATING THEIR HANDLER. Said spikey-helmeted guy is flailing now!

Meanwhile, George blows the Comms Tower open, allowing Staren and the Flotilla inside. There are a number of officers, but they're unarmored, so while one or two draw and fire, most have the sense to hold up their hands and just glower. Unfortunately it isn't clear if they got a signal off or not, but the two will have a brief chance to get an idea of the local force layout.

Zwei is left unmolested, or rather Weiss is. Scanning reveals a computer terminal nearby, though through another wall. She can probably cut through to get close enough to use her wireless abilities to scan the data, though of course it's encrypted. A comptuer of Zwei's caliber can probably crack that fairly quickly, though might want to wait until after the battle.

All this leads to a crisis that needs handled, and another door... can't open due to interference, but it blasts open to reveal two spike-shouldered power armors, which appear to be some kind of variant that isn't SAMAS, and a sleek-looking, heavier SAMAS with someone in it who immediately opens fire on Audrey, requiring the Protect Bit to work overtime! He's also directing the other troops to blast the COMM TOWER, taking it down. What kind of strategy is that? Either way, he's obviously the leader of whatever force is left.
Staren     Staren gets shot at by /unarmored officers/?! He levels the laser rifle at them, "Seriously?!" But... he stays his hand, reaches into his bag, and pulls out a federation phaser, trying to stun them. "Alright you guys, keep an eye on them." Staren directs the flotalla members inside at the surrendering officers, and then starts looking around for a computer to hack.
Shin Tokuyama      Pow pow pow!
Shin takes a couple shots head on, the force of the rounds rocking him a bit and putting the bullets clean through his body. To his credit, he's still on his feet. Albeit he looks a bit horrified as he stares down at the blood that darkens his suit, "DUDES! WHAT THE FUCK?!" Shin screams at them in raw rage.
"LIKE... I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START HERE?!" He continues screaming, "FIRST OFF, I GUESS, THAT WAS MY SUIT YOU JUST FUCKED UP! SECONDLY, YOU SAVE THE GUNS TILL THE THIRD ACT WHEN I'VE BEATEN YOU ALL BY HAND," Shin lectures, charging in towards them.
He moves eerily fast and with a scary amount of precision, "Fine! You wanna do it this way, with the guns from the start? That just means I'm going to rock your fucking faces off because you changed the story! Instead of one guy has close fight with a dozen dudes, it's fight awesome man busts some bitches for pulling guns!"
Shin gets in close, raising back his fist, "Suck on this, you slapdick assholes. This one's for my suit!"
"POWER!" He curls his hand into a fist, a red aura around it intensifying with Ki as he charges up a special. He brings the fist down again, slamming it into the ground while in the center of all the Dead Boys, "GEYSAH!"
The ground cracks under his hand before releasing a huge blast of flame that threatens to take out all of them at once. He stands back up in the aftermath, taking an idle pose and having a flashback.

    =======FLASHBACK=======

Shin, newly homeless on his journey and sleeping in an alley, rummages through a garbage can in some random city. He finds a loaf of thrown away bread that is only half eaten and sits down. As he starts to take a bite, there's a sinister HONK from next to him. A Goose is there, glaring at him, "No! It's my bread!" He shouts at the goose.
The goose leans forward and bites him hard on the arm, "NO! STOP IT!" He throws a lazy punch at the goose, but it flutters backwards and then charges in again to bite him on the arm.
Not wanting to be cruel to animals, Shin attempts to endure this, but the goose bites him relentlessly until he drops the bread and tries to run away. This event will traumatize Shin on his journey for some time.

    =======END FLASHBACK=======

Shin thinks over these series of events as he clenches his fist amidst his fallen foes. He vows aloud, "I'll beat Geese easily with skill and technique!"
And then he takes off in a dash to look for an armory or something to loot.
Guest Madeline     "FINALLY!" Madeline huffs, slamming her hand down onto the console. "Okay, Crown, I think you'll approve of this one." She grabs the controls and heaves the Warstrider toward the commander, both guns ready. "Engage Subdual Linked Circuit, Radiant Empress."

    'MAJESTIC RADIANT PRESENCE DRIVE ONLINE'
'TERIFYING APPARITION OF GLORY BOOST CAPACITOR ACTIVATING'
    ENGAGING AUTHORITY-RADIATING STANCE PROGRAM'
'OVERRIDE ACCEPTED. TARGET ACQUIRED. ACTIVATING WORSHIPFUL LACKEY ACQUISITION.'

In a massive wave of bright golden light, the faint shimmering image of a fortress appears in a halo around the Radiant Empress. She is DEFINITELY visible now, Stealth or no Stealth, but a wave of sheer crushing /authority/ comes down upon the field, enforcing her right to rule upon the lesser minds. Her allies are excepted(so don't even need to try to resist), but the Dead Boys might get distracted, along with the pilots. It CAN be resisted, though, even by these. Well... all but the last. The whole point was to wear down that commander's resistance so that the final Charm Circuit would be more effective.

"You truly are committed to reclaiming your world, but you know that it is a difficult battle. I commend your determination! In return, I offer you a place by my side, to take back my own world for the humankind that has squandered it. I have reclaimed my land from the undead, and if you join me, I will aid in reclaim your land from the monsters that have torn it apart. Will you join my righteous cause?"

It is, of course, enforcing a supernatural commitment upon him.
Audrey Stormfist     The CONTROL NODE does nothing.

As Audrey is fired upon, numerous shots tear skin and clothes off; though she looks extremely bad off for a moment, the DEFENSE NODE whirls in place and bombards her with healing spells, closing wounds and mending bruises, though it can't do anything for her overcoat.

The ATTACK NODE fares much worse; with the other focused on shielding and healing Audrey, the foot-large orb comes under fire and eventually breaks, exploding outright. This seems to prompt a response from the CONTROL NODE.

    [Globe199]

The larger orb flickers black and purple, as the magic that was inside the ATTACK NODE is siphoned into it, and a crushing ball of raw energy and gravity forms around one of the two larger suits of power armor to have emerged alongside the commander. The power armor can likely take the hit without too much damage, but the same might not be true of the pilot being forcefully compressed to and from the size of a pea.

Audrey remains behind the two drones' cover, observing. This is a field test, anyway. These are prototypes, and kind of rough around the edges, especially programming-wise. If they could load these with a real AI, it'd be another story.
Starbound Flotilla     Biteblade will, if possible, take a pretty hefty chunk out of the dog-handler. But she'll disengage as Maya asks, focusing on letting Maya capture the handler. Instead, now SUPERCHARGED on a tremendous number of stacked buffs and her own natural CANNIBALISM REGEN, she immediately begins charging around at high speed, attempting to pounce Dog Boys with dagger-stabs, and bite their throats out. She covers Maya, doing whatever she's doing.

She may have stolen the hat.
Starbound Flotilla     Albert suffers some grazing impacts from those shots, crunching his armor, and bruising and lacerating the flesh below, but for now he's left in fighting condition. Audrey handles most of the problems when it comes to the SAMAS and its threat, ideally; Albert just needs to make sure more doesn't happen. Loading a new set of rockets, he unleashes several explosive projectiles designed to emit gushes of searing fire, hopefully filling the hangars with heat and smoke to make sure that none of the other machines inside get to launch... And preserving them for later looting, maybe.
Valentha Summers     Oooooh. They're taking down their own installation? HOW INTERESTING indeed.

Valentha is of a mind that the comm tower should be preserved in that case. Although she fails to incapacitate one SAMAS, that's nothing compared to having two and a tank roaming around. She lets the escapee bee and instead reacts quickly. Both hands rise up, mystic words flow from her lips, and an invocation of chilling power FLIES across the battlefield from her hands.

It strikes the ground near the comm tower, crackling and shimmering... and things over there get cold. Fast.

Rising like a beast from the sea, a wall of ICE forms and builds, chunky and thick and rough-faced like the cliff-sides of a great glacier or iceberg. It reaches a great height that no newbie mage could hope to achieve and starts absorbing the shots quite well.

Well, that's probably going to piss some soldiers off.
Starbound Flotilla     Moonfin suffers a few shots from the unarmored officers. Some are exhaustingly deflected by his blade, but another punches into the armor, taking him off his feet with a stumbling gasp. Pavo and George return fire, of course, without a bit of hesitation, instantly attempting to gun down anyone firing on them that Staren doesn't get to first. George, despite the rumbles of blasts against the comms tower, focuses on the comms equipment. Did they get anything out? Is Zwei's scrambling still held? If not, he intends to start threatening people for authentication codes and bullshitting a harmless everything's-clear check-in with command, and an apology for dropped comms. He'd like to keep this subtle! He does have a lot of experience as a professional spy, remember.
Maya Maya can't save everyone no but there's just some deaths, she cringes for the dog mutants knowing thier bond with this person is likely legit. When did she start gettin soft in her old age she wonders. She got to work now, she knows this Deadboy is clearly not a line one she'll grab them and pull them up if she can hol them while deloaking.

"Why is the CS building a base this far out from anything major? What are you up to here."

Runner meanwhile is going after the dog boys too but he seems more content ot disable them where he can runner is a dog after all and Maya's not screamed kill.

"You want to live? You want to save your pack?! Answers!"
Starbound Flotilla     With Seft no longer engaged with Skelebots, she can turn her focus elsewhere. She can go help... Madeline! The chaotic events going on here are at least something she can help with. The Coalition uses robots, right? For a moment, she takes the role of a robot allied with Madeline, her eye-visor flickering to a brilliant gold bar to match the tone of things. With a heavy energy-jet leap and a landing just in front of the robot, between Madeline and the commander, she reaches and hand out and speaks, in traditional Glitch computerized monotone, "Warm. She can see how much you believe in humanity and wish to fight for it. Even the aliens present here will not interfere with such profound devotion, from the respect it commands. Take the place that is offered and there will be no violence towards you. Will you accept your mission?"

Her eye-visor displays "Y/N" on it now. She holds a hand out to him and will use her energy jets and grappling hook to extract him up to the Radiant Empress if the persuasion is successful.
Zwei     Being a ways away from the field, and not actually built to sense magic of any kind, Weiss is completely unaware of Madeline's gambit, only peripherally paying attention to what battle sounds are audible through the hole up above. While the sounds of gunshots, explosions, and especially loud punches echo down into the darkened fortification, she works on making a straight line from her entry point to the nearest computer bank, slashing through however many meters of concrete and steel equivalents stand in her way.

She stops just shy of breaking into the room itself, on the off chance someone is still there monitoring the physical access panel, maintaining stealth instead by reading directly off of the drive. She leaves as soon as she simply /has/ the data, though predictably she's already working on brute force decrypting it once she has it in local memory where she won't be bound by the constraints of transistor based computing architecture.
Melissa     Shin... confuses the soldiers as he manages to knock them off their feet, then runs off. He could have beaten them! Except instead he is in a tiny room with... oh look. Guns and vibroblades! Also e-clips and the like. These look useful!

The CS soldiers do not pursue, because suddenly a BLINDING LIGHT floods over them, and the soldiers are a little awestruck. Skelebots not so much, though, so there's still plenty of shooting, and those already in combat aren't really affected so much. The COMMANDER is, though, and with a little push further, he lowers his weapon. That much UMI is kinda hard for a normal human to resist.

The soldiers in the other power armor start hammering shots at the tower, but one of them is crushed by Audrey's Globe, and the other finds a wall of ice obstructing him. Thing is, THESE soldiers are not stupid, and... he can see the writing on the wall with the level of power he's facing. "CEASE FIRE, CEASE FIRE!" Hell, the commader is already hesitating. "Sir, are you seriously thinking about it?" He's a little incredulous about that... he is a loyal soldier, just not stupid enough to fight against overwhelming odds. Maybe that'd change if he knew Madeline could mind-fuck him.

Two of the dog boys go down easy, they aren't that tough, but the others are perhaps spared when the Psi-Stalker grunts and holds up his arms in defeat now, glowering at Maya but accepting it. Looks like Biteblade gets a new hat.

Inside the Comms tower, the others are swiftly subdued. Staren can tell that the jamming worked, but it probably cut off a continuous signal so the patrol is on its way back. Fortunately, George can see they're some distance away. If they act fast they can plunder this place and be outta here before the patrols are back.

Zwei's decrypting will quickly find out why they're more willing to surrender. This group has been away from central for a while, and are apparently part of the Coalition's efforts to understand the Multiverse better, being a sort of 'forward observer' base. This probably seems pretty reasonable to Zwei, but might be important to others for other reasons...
Shin Tokuyama     None of those things are fist weapons or feet weapons, but they all look pretty cool! The kind of cool that people tend to pay money for, he figures. He never did find a buyer for the gunstaff or the gunsword, so he threw em in a storage locker pending purchases. These will probably wind up there too, most likely!
Shin had no real interest in killing those guys outside. Besides, by hitting them once to knock them all down and leaving them alive, they'll probably tell all their friends about Shin and everyone will think he's cool and mysterious. That's how these things work, he assumes, more or less.
As Staren confirms over the radio that these things are worth 'good money', he looks around for a duffel bag. Places like these ALWAYS have duffel bags, because it's a military base after all. Upon finding one, or a suitable analogue, he begins shoving as much into said duffel bag as he can carry. The swords first, because he can lay them flat and fit a ton. After the swords come E-clips, because they're kinda cool looking. And finally guns, last, because they're lame.
As he loads up the bag, he sings to himself in Japanese, "Opening the gate of the heart... Surpassing the limit, more grand... Embracing the determination and running... Vowing in my chest to not run away."
Hoisting the bag up across his shoulders, he then moves to head and regroup with the others, clattering as he carries the big bag.
Starbound Flotilla     A few upbeat, positive beeping synthetic noises come from Seft as the man selects "Y", so she loops one heavy armored arm around his body and jets on up, launching a grappling hook up to the Radiant Empress and reeling in. Madeline Vance will get the man deposited wherever she likes.

Meanwhile, Pavo shakes down the captures officers for info about where all the valuables are, and George helps Moonfin get on his feet. Shortly, Pavo will be rushing out the door and to the rest of the facility. She'll be looting everything she can, stuffing it into her Matter Manipulator, and later distributing it... Entirely fairly.
Biteblade gets a new hat and goes to help. She is covered in blood and gnawing on an arm. She is not helping the whole 'offworlders are evil' thing.

Albert gets to work on dealing with his own wounds, and shortly will be found out in the fields, planting mines to further fuck with the Coalition. Just because that's how he passes the time I guess.
Staren     Well, he's in the communications center. So Staren gets to work trying to pull communication logs and such. May as well see what the CS has been talking about lately.

He halfway glances over to the surrendering officers. "You know, if any of you /have/ been thinking about defecting, this is a chance to get out. If I were really an evil monster, why'd I stun them?" he gestures at the officers on the floor.
