Yuri Stinson     True to his word, Yuri is in a cave. Because of how many beings in Creation and, arguably, around the Multiverse would want him dead, he has chosen a very difficult cave to reach. Namely because said cave requires a hike to get to it by virtue of being on a mountain surrounded by a desert because creation has bizarre landscapes. So to get there, Kyra would have to battle against sandstorms and then mountain-side sandstorms!

Inside, however, is the Exalt. Yuri looks, to put it lightly, like a trainwreck. All the tissue around his left eyesocket is gone, exposing blank skull with seared and charred flesh. This damage wraps around his head and back towards his ear less consistently, giving a scraped appearance. His left eye is also totally missing. He has a foot-wide gasp across his chest that shows down to the ribs. Finally, the obvious wound is another foot-wide hole in his stomach that one can actually see through.

He is, currently, leaning up against the wall of the cave with his radio next to him as he talks. A pool of blood surrounds him, but despite all his injuries he shows no sign of pain.
Kyra Hyral     Kyra's arrival to Creation is actually by way of her spaceship. It felt prudent to get the Rafflesia out of dodge while the Fleet rebuilt the damage done during the Zaibatsu's assault. Kyra's pretty thankful that her ship wasn't savaged during it, probably being judged as too unlikely an escape route for the rebels of the Empire. Kyra leaves her ship in orbit, assuming that to be a safer option than trying to land it in a sandstorm or somewhere in the mountains, making use of the on-ship teleporter to get to the surface of creation. Of course, she's also left with a long hike to find this cave.

During her journey, she needs to hit herself up with a stimulant to keep her going. When she finally does arrive at Yuri's cave, it's starting to wear off, leaving her looking tired. She doesn't even need to see him to know how bad he's injured: Kyra can /smell/ it from the mouth of the cave. Smell was one of those senses that doctors were always encouraged to develop since it could provide vital information on a patient, after all.

She rushes into the cave, unwinding her CURE-ALL from her back, not wanting to risk a mishap with white magic when Yuri was in this state. "Hi." she greets briefly, taking only a few moments to take in the extent of the damage.

    Murasame did this to him?

Calmly, she turns the dial that governs the MP draw of the CURE-ALL to maximum and aims the barrel of the grenade-launcher-like weapon at the Exalt. No warning is given but none is really needed as she fires an initial shot of high-powered healing energy directly into Yuri, the diameter of which greater than the hole through his torso.
Yuri Stinson     "Hello," Yuri says. Due to his experience with Kyra and their repeated interactions, she's become one of the few people he can show emotion towards in a controlled setting. This shows by a slightly tired and sheepish smile that plays on his face, "I'm sorry to bring you out so far."

He sits up a bit and looks towards her. He still shows no hint of pain, and from this and things he's said before, Kyra can probably surmise why Yuri was able to be injured this badly: He cannot feel pain. And from that, his body has lost any sense of self-preservation instinct. He shifts his arm a bit to make the hole more present as she takes her aim upon it.

"How have you been? Your rebellion has been smaller, more personal, but one I found interesting," That smile flickers a bit, showing that he is slowly gaining some emotion but still struggles with it. As the blast of Cure-All strikes him, at least the torso wound has stopped bleeding from the attention. It doesn't LOOK infected, either.
Kyra Hyral     "I had a feeling you wouldn't be laying up in some ritzy hotel on a tropical island." Kyra finally replies after she's taken that shot on him, a tired smile on her face. Confident that she's dumped enough healing magic in him for the moment to at least prevent him from bleeding out, she unwinds the CURE-ALL from her shoulder and sets it aside.

Kyra squats down and shuffles forward towards Yuri on her knees, carefully manuvering to minimize contact with the pool of blood around him. Carefully, she examines him, then lifts a hand to his face where the flesh has been burned away and the eye is missing. "...hopefully I can replace that..." she says quietly, gently touching her hand against the damaged area as the white magic easily flows into her fingers. She looks calm and focused.

"I've been alright. It's..." she trails off, looking sheepish. Her rebellion was personal, especially when compared to someone like Juno who is busy defying and fleeing an entire Empire. It made hers look like stupid teenage drama.

    Which it...kind of is.

"Reaping consequences, stuff like that. It's mostly just been little things here and there. Nothing like last night." Kyra falls silent, directing her magic, visualizing the human anatomy she's striving to restore from Yuri's face. She starts with the layers of missing flesh, nerves, and skin. The hardest part, the eye, is left for last and Yuri could easily sense the increased movement of magic particles from her as she sets to this difficult task.
Yuri Stinson     "I consider those, occasionally. But it is not in my nature to lounge in opulence while others cannot," He notes with a wry grin as she kneels down next to him. He doesn't seem scared or in pain which probably makes him an ideal patient for her to be doing extensive medical treatment of.

"It all would have grown back, so long as he had not finished me off. Your aid is much appreciated. I usually deny medical treatment in battle for those whose injuries would impede them without treatment," He explains, tilting his head a bit so she can inspect the eye socket and surrounding area. In the socket, a dim red flame glows in place of a proper eye.

"All rebellions are equally important, Kyra Hyral," Yuri says in a simple tone, letting her treat his eye. As she pumps magic into it, the seared and blackened bones begin to regain a normal white color as the charred flesh flakes off for newly growing skin and muscle.

"As we move through life, those around us push us forward. We are as stones, skipping across the surface of the water attempting to reach an opposite shore. We are pushed forward and only in brief moments do we ever touch the surface and find resistance," He begins, sighing a bit and the action making him cough, "But it is when we allow ourselves to stop that we plunge below the surface. It is dangerous, but from it we can discover the true depth of our life and the world we live in. Big or small, it is this moment of breaching the surface that defines great lives."

She's making good progress on his face. Mitigating a lot of the severe damage that was done by that Thunder-2.
Kyra Hyral     Despite the serious answer that Yuri provides about her dry comment of lounging in fancy places, she laughs just a little bit. "Exactly. You're not the type."

She squints deep into the eye socket out of curiosity. Though shaped like a human, it was a good reminder that Yuri really wasn't human at all. "Yeah, you declined the last time I offered. I figured you'd do it again but I thought, hey, why not offer?"

She continues her work on his face, a bead of sweat rolling down the side of her head. At the very least she is encouraged that the healing is working but she keeps her pace slow and steady. She reddens slightly when he continues speaking: 'all rebellions are equally important. "W..well I dunno about that..." she trails off again, now allowing his sudden coughing to throw her off. "So the moment of breaching is like that moment of rebellion...then maybe I've just started sinking. It really hasn't been that bad besides my friends being upset and impacted by being associated with a heretic."

She's clearly still trying to just brush it off because Perspective, it seems. "But it least it got me what I wanted. My family leaves me alone. I'm not obligated to marry Souji anymore. I don't have to marry if I don't want to."
Yuri Stinson     Yuri laughs a bit, "It's about choice, in the end," He says in regards to a nebulous thing she said. He shifts his gaze to look upwards towards the ceiling and give her a better angle to work with while he muses the point.

"Sinking is dangerous, but at the same time, you will see parts of life that none other can. It allows allows the few people willing to be a sinking stone to act as anchors for those who need it, steady and constant. You may, as you sink, find yourself surrounded by darkness," The Exalt muses this and sighs a bit, "But you should take care to realize an anchor serves deliberately not to be influenced by its surroundings."

He smiles some more and then asks her, "Would it surprise you to know even someone like me wishes to be married? Believes in such a thing?"

His eye is regenerating at a better pace. His concepts and natures are alien, but her magic is working and soon enough the other jade eye begins to phase into existence, sparing the sight of such an organ growing from scratch.
Kyra Hyral     Oddly enough, seeing an eye regrow wouldn't actually bother Kyra very much. In fact, she'd be fascinated to watch, just like she was fascinated by Arthur regrowing his arm from her magic. Her curiosity would not be deterred in biological matters! A doctor had to learn to withstand a gore and injury after all.

"...ah. I see." she still seems skeptical, though. "...but of my friends-" she thinks of the other Light Warriors, "-I'm easily the least well adjusted. I'm not really in any position to offer that kind of support." It hasn't been lost on her that, perhaps except for Ellard now, she's easily the least mature. "But I'll keep these things in mind. I rebelled so I could be who I want to and I'm not going to let pressure from others change me now."

She pauses to eye him for a moment, clearly surprised. "You? Married? I do find that surprising. Marriage is like being /shackled/ to another person, then later shackled to raising children. -ooh, it is working."

Kyra sounds excited and now the energy comes a bit faster now. She did have other wounds to address, after all.
Yuri Stinson     "In one way it is a shackle, but in another way, it is a freedom," Yuri says in a bit of a serious tone, looking over to her, "I have a fiance. FIA is her name."

His other eye opens and then he turns to look at Kyra, blinking several times to re-adjust to regaining stereoscopic vision again, "It is only a shackle if you do not love the other person. If you truly love the person you will marry, it is a freedom. A freedom of knowing you will always have a person who understands you, who will share your being, and whom you can rely on."

He blinks his eye a few more times, "Yes, it seems to have returned my vision to normal."
Kyra Hyral     Kyra gets really quiet for a moment. There is a bit of embarassment on her face for reasons Yuri can only guess at because she certainly isn't explaining it to him. "Ahh...FIA. That explains a few things I've heard earlier. I don't think she likes it when I give you attention." She listens to him, slowly nodding.

"I think that was missing from the marriages I've seen. They didn't love each other. They married out of obligation." she remarks quietly. "That sounds kind of nice though. Having that soulmate." With the face well on its way to healing now and the eye restored, she moves on to the large gaping wound in his torso.

"Have you known her long? FIA that is." Kyra asks, tracing the ruined flesh with a white-glowing finger. Much like on his face, the Exalt's body reforms itself even faster than he would usually experience.
Yuri Stinson     "FIA is my opposite in many ways. While I am a man who is becoming divorced from his humanity, she is a machine who is discovering what it is to be human," Yuri explains to Kyra calmly, "It is possible she experienced jealousy for the first time in recent history. This had not occurred to me."

Whether he notices her blush or not, he doesn't comment on it. It's very likely he didn't, because even as emotive as she finds him now, he's fairly divorced from nuances. As she traces the finger, his own regeneration is kicked in. The wound begins to grow itself shut, flesh reforming and moving to close as he ponders her question.

"I met her shortly after I arrived in the Multiverse. Two and a half years ago. I won her at a wedding due to that tradition where people throw the flowers and the leg thing." This is not an exaggeration. This is how he met FIA, "I was different back then. I was not as I am now."
Kyra Hyral     Upon hearing this, Kyra actually laughs a little. It's lighthearted and possibly kind of startling but she does explain herself: "So in a way, I helped FIA become a little more human. Indirectly. She's not nothing to fear from me, really, because I'm way into my boyfriend. We did kind of run off together and there's really no looking back after that." Kyra withdraws her hand seeing that she's seemed to have started a chain reaction that jump-started the healing Yuri needed on the torso wound. She scoots around a little now, examining Yuri for anything she may have missed. Although she knows Souji doesn't use poison or other similar effects, she casts esuna on Yuri just to be sure.

"Won her at a...wedding?" Kyra lifts an eyebrow. "Taken out of context that sounds slightly sketchy. Still..two and a half years. You've spent a lot of time getting to know her, especially if you feel /that/ strongly about her."
Yuri Stinson     "Yes. She caught the bouquet. I caught the leg thing. We travelled together because this is human custom, according to what we had read," The Infernal says this totally matter-of-factly as he watches her heal him. He has no other apparent injuries for her to work on at that moment.

One thing does happen, though: When she casts Esuna to counteract non-existant poison, Yuri's body seems to spasm a few times. Not in a painful way, but as if it naturally rejected a spell that would edit its current state of being or status upon it, "I thank you for your aid in this. I hope my advice to you has been able to compensate you for the trouble you took to do so."
Kyra Hyral     "Ohhhh, I get it. So via custom. Huh. I'm a little surprised you followed it...was this back before you found your purpose as the Dark Hero?" she ventures curiously.

As he starts to spasm from the esuna, Kyra quickly stops. She can /feel/ the magic being rejected and boy does it feel rather strange to her. "...are you alright? What just happened...?"

She smiles brightly. "Hey, you're welcome. No...thank you for the advice. It actually meant a lot to me when you said that all rebellions are equally important. It's easy to feel like the little stuff doesn't matter when so much big stuff is going on, you know?" She stands and offers him a hand to pull himself up.
Yuri Stinson     "Oh I... couldn't let you purge the diseases or poisons from my body. Certain immunities rely on their presence, so I rejected your shaping of my concept in that instance," And accrued a point of Limit to do it, but he won't tell her that so she won't feel bad. He smiles at her and takes the hand, carefully standing up and looking down at himself. There's still some battle damage, but he's infinitely better off than he was when she first showed up.

"I was not the Dark Hero, then. I was my original state. A harbinger of war and servant of... your world lacks an analogue. Old beings filled with hate and malice." He takes a slow breath as if testing out the restored body and blinks his regained eye a few times, "If you ever need my counsel again, I will provide it. Do not hesitate to ask for my advice."
Kyra Hyral     Kyra pulls him up with PUNY WHITE MAGE MUSCLES. Rar. "Oh. My bad, I didn't know. I'll keep that in mind for later." It'll be difficult to treat his status effects should he ever get them. Then again, he's an Exalt. There are probably few status effects that'll actually hurt him.

"Oh we have things like that but they show up in horror novels. Not actually real, like Chaos." Kyra says, picking back up the CURE-ALL and slipping it onto her back. "I will call you when I need you, Yuri." she turns, waving a hand behind her. "Seeya later!"
