Owner Pose
Taylita      It took nearly an entire day for Taylita to heal, even in the chamber, but finally she is done and back to her old self. When the fluid drains away and the chamber opens, she looks around for Gohan. Would he still be here? She wouldn't be surprised if she found him asleep. Which might be just as well, since Taylita is still wearing very little, and is now drenched in rejuvenation juice.

She heads toward the small ship's bathroom to get cleaned up before their trip.
Gohan     Gohan has, true to his word, stuck around the ship and waited for her. (Un)fortunately for both of them, however, Gohan is not asleep. He looks tired, it's true, but he's still conscious. As he hears the pod open, he peeks around the corner. He notices immediately that the healing tank has worked. Which is why he flushes a brilliant red and pops back around the corner. "Good to see you back to normal!" he says, his voice slightly higher than normal. "Looks like the healing tank worked! No need to put those bandages back on, right?" Was that a hopeful tone? Nah, couldn't be.

He leans against the wall as Taylita enters the bathroom. "In all seriousness, though, I'm glad it recovered you. Those were... vicious wounds."
Taylita      Taylita laughs as Gohan pops back around the corner. "Yeah, it worked great." she agrees before disappearing into the bathroom. "Vicious is pretty much the only thing Kakarot knows, I think." she says from inside the bathroom. It takes only about five minutes for her to emerge, back in her usual grease monkey outfit and still drying her head with a towel. "So, are you ready for our little trip? It should take about an hour to get there. We can stay for a few days, if you'd like."

She tosses the towel into a nearby bin, then heads for the cockpit. "Ready to go?"
Gohan     Gohan chuckles weakly. "That's really good. I almost thought I might have forgotten how to set it up. It took so long... but I guess that was to be expected." He shakes his head. "It's a surreal feeling, associating that sort of violence with someone who looks like my dad... He was so gentle unless he HAD to fight..." He shakes his head. "I need to stop that. Kakarot is a monster, and he WILL pay." And then, he thinks to himself, I will start my own transformation.

"Yeah. I'll clear it with the bigwigs later. They'll just have to accept this. If they don't they can demote me." He shrugs. "Or execute me I guess, but I doubt they'll go that far." He nods, following her toward the cockpit. "Ready when you are, Captain."
Taylita      Taylita smirks proudly at being called captain. "Captain Taylita. Has a certain ring to it, huh?" she says as she sits down in the navigation chair and motions to the pilot chair for Gohan. "Would you care to do the honors?" she asks, smirking lightly. "I bet you don't get a chance to fly a ship manually very often. It's pretty exhilarating." she says, her tail giving a little energetic lash.
Gohan     Gohan chuckles. "Don't let it go to your head now," he says, smiling over at her. "Of course, I could do with more pilots in the PTO. I mean, if I weren't going to disband it," he catches himself. He had to remember to think of the PTO as a dead organization. "I still haven't decided what to do with the flagship," he continues, before turning the chair and seating himself. He smirks over his shoulder.

"This is the second most exhilerating thing to happen thus far," he chuckles. He takes the controls in hand, then taps on the panel and begins a launch. "Uhh... man, I hate it when you're right. I haven't flown in way too long..."
Taylita      Taylita just grins. "Why not? My head isn't nearly big enough for a saiyan." she says teasingly. She punches buttons on the navigation console, and the windshield in front of Gohan lights up with guidance systems. "Alright, course laid in. We can take off whenever you are ready." she says as she leans back in her chair and crosses her arms behind her head.

Of course, there is still a grin on her face as she leans back with her legs crossed, one foot lightly bobbing. She is eager to see how Gohan does.
Gohan     Gohan chuckles. "That's one of your charms. Best not to lose it," he says, smiling over at her. As she lights up the navigation console and sets the course, Gohan's eyes lock onto the guidance systems. As he scans, his muscles become more relaxed. He glances at all the readouts, seeing no problems, and clicks a few of the keys on the panel in front of him.

"Hope this thing is tough," he says, frowning a bit. "Here we go!" The ship lurches to life, and begins rising much more rapidly than it probably should. Gohan is nearly knocked out of his seat, but soon steadies the ship and pulls it into a hover. "O... Okay. These things are jumpy!"
Taylita      Taylita hees as Gohan points out that a small head is a good quality. She waits for Gohan to start them off.

And she really is thrown out of her chair, thanks to her relaxed posture. The buck of the ship tosses her upward where she hits the roof, then when Gohan levels out she lands back in her chair, wincing a bit. Then...she laughs. "Yeah. I guess they are. In certain hands." she says, looking pretty amused even as she rubs her head.
Gohan     Gohan blinks as he hears Taylita hit the roof. "Holy hell!" he calls, "Are you alright?!" He makes to get out of the seat, but as she gets up laughing he eases back into it, ears burning. "Y... yeah, well... Like you said, it's been awhile. I only had to fly one a handful of times off the flagship." He grabs the controls again, this time easing them the way he wants.

Now instead of a rough ride, they're puttering around like space grandmas. Gohan growls slightly, pushing the controls a bit more. Slowly but surely, they begin to make decent headway. "You fly this thing all the time, don't you?" he says. Offhand, he chuckles. "You want my flagship?"
Taylita      Taylita just laughs more as Gohan gets all concerned. She is still giggling a bit as he explains, then she snickers some more as he putters around before finally kicking it up a bit.

He might have been joking with his offer, but Taylita perks like a cat who just spotted a laser pointer. "Really?! You'd let me have it?!" she exclaims excitedly, leaning toward Gohan, her eyes wide and full of that anime sparkle that often accompanies someone loving an idea. "A flagship would be awesome!" she gushes. Obviously, she is even more into technology than Gohan thought. "I could call it the Star Child! I would have such better facilities for my tech building! And, a place to actually dock this ship other than in the grass on Earth!"
Gohan     Gohan chuckles. Taylita's excitement at the prospect is just too much for him to take. "Alright then," he says, "It's all yours once I finish what I need to do. I can't think of a better use, or a better person for it to go to." He flashes her a warm smile, then turns his attention back to the controls. "You'll have to repaint it like you did this one," he says, "I'm thinking the Union probably wants me shot down for taking Namamura like I did." He rolls his eyes slightly. "... I'm going to have my work cut out for me softening the world's views on me after trying so hard to solidify them aren't I?" he asks quietly.
Taylita      Taylita does an excited double fist pump when Gohan agrees to let her have it. "I'll need a lot of paint!" she says excitedly. Then, the subject of Gohan's image comes up. She crosses her arms and smirks lightly. "If you ask me, their views on you should already be soft. They aren't, but they should be. I mean, you took Namamura without killing anyone, right? And you let the people leave who wanted to leave. Aaaand...you are going to give it back, so...that will probably soften things at least a bit." she says. She stretches, then relaxes again. "And, disbanding the PTO will soften it even more. It'll confuse the crap out of people, too." She giggles.

It is about this time that they are coming to an asteroid field. Taylita grins. "I hope you are a bit more comfortable with your flying."
Gohan     Gohan chuckles. "Doesn't take much to make you happy, does it? Then again, I guess most guys can't just hand you an organization's flagship, huh?" He offers a small wink, then immediately blushes and turns away. "That aside, of course," he coughs slightly. "You would think, but you leave an Elite close to death twice and they tend to look down on you. I... can't say I really blame them. You know? I have been... a bit of an asshole."

He shakes his head, then smirks. "Maybe that all will help my case, huh?" He then stares at the front of the ship and sighs. "Man... you mapped one hell of a route." He begins guiding the ship through the astroids, trying to manuever as carefully as possible.
Taylita      Taylita hees as Gohan comments on her flight plan, then pouts slightly as he drives all safely and carefully. "Well, it is the quickest way to Corlan." she says as she straps herself in. She doesn't want to get thrown around again. "What, you don't think you can make it? Do you want me to drive?" she says, grinning.

The asteroid field is mostly large, easily avoided asteroids, but every now and then a car-sized one will zip by, causing alarms to go off on the ship.
Gohan     "Please," he says, as Taylita calls his skills into question. He chuckles a bit, guiding the ship through the field. She likely would have exhibited more grace than he currently was, but he can get the job done. "I'm not that terrible a pi--"

The alarm goes off as a smaller asteroid shoots by them, causing him to nearly steer into one of the massive ones. He corrects, but his ears are burning.

"S... shut up," he says in a false pout.
Taylita      Taylita giggles and grins as Gohan sulks a bit. "You may not be the best, but with a little practice I bet you'd be fine." she says as they continue through. It only takes about a minute to get through the asteroid field, then it is a straight shot to Corlan.

As they near the planet, It might become clear why the Corlanians are plant people. The plant is almost entirely green, and unlike Earth, only about a fourth of the surface is ocean. There are plenty of lakes and rivers, but mostly it is dominated by green. Taylita smiles as she sees it. "When I first saw Corlan from orbit...I could hardly believe how small a planet can look, and how green the entire planet was."
Gohan     Gohan chuckles. "Yeah, I guess I could use a hobby," he says, "Why not piloting?" He couldn't just spend all of his time fighting and training, right? "You'll be my teacher, right?" he asks, smirking a bit out of the corner of his mouth. "As long as I don't go crazy again?" He laughs a little, then sighs as they finally come out the other side of the field. It takes a moment for Gohan to catch on to what Taylita is looking at, but when he does...

    He's mesmerized.

"Whoa... that's where you grew up?" he says, his voice coming out on his breath, "What a beautiful little planet..." He looks over at Taylita. "Looks like a peaceful place. I'm starting to get a clearer picture of you all of a sudden."
Taylita      Taylita smirks. "I could teach you, sure." she says, then looks at her home again. "It will be so nice to see mom and dad again." she says, then points to a spot. "That is where you should land. Try not to crash." she says teasingly, then presses a few commands into the computer and it lays in a flight path. "There is a clearing that the original PTO scouts used to land. It's the only clear flat area for miles."
Gohan     Gohan chuckles. For some reason, he's feeling rather sassy today. He smiles and nods at first. "Excellent. Captain Professor Taylita it is, then!" he remarks. As she mentions her parents, he laughs. "Isn't that usually later on in all this? Meeting your parents already is a big step!" He laughs, though, ruining any serious tone he may have had in his voice. As she lays out a landing path, Gohan nods and banks the ship, heading toward the landing site. "How long has it been since you've been back?" he asks curiously, keeping his eyes on the view and his controls.
Taylita      Taylita blinks, then makes a 'blech' face at Captain Professor Taylita. "Maybe I should just stick with Taylita." she says, giggling a bit. Then, she laughs as Gohan implies that she would be bringing him to meet her parents. "Well, someone is confident today." she says, a playful smirk on her face.

"Hmm...about two years. You guys have been keeping me pretty busy." she says, then stretches. As they land, she starts powering down systems. "Well, are you ready to meet the masters of Corlanian martial arts?" she asks as she stands and heads for the door.
Gohan     Gohan chuckles as he releases the controls, standing up and rolling his shoulders. "I have no reason not to be confident," he says, smiling broadly, "I mean, I am Son Gohan after all. I'm kind of a big deal when I want to be." He draws to full height, following Taylita out of the ship. "Two years... I suppose I should apologize for keeping your focus off your home, huh?" he asks, crossing his arms. He allows his aura to flare slightly around him, the white energy humming quietly.

"I'm as ready as I could ever be," he says, his voice soft. "This planet... it's pretty incredible. Its warriors must be something else as well. I mean, you are after all."
Taylita      Taylita shakes her head at Gohan's apology. "Nah. I left of my own accord, so my time away is my own fault." she says, smiling just a bit. "Just wait until you meet the masters. I've trained with them nearly all my life, and I am still amazed by them pretty often."

Taylita's own aura flares, and she takes off into the sky. At first, it might seem like there is no civilization here. Just huge trees and heavy undergrowth as far as the eye can see, occassionally broken by a river. But, after a minute or two, the undergrowth starts to clear away and moving among the trees the Corlanians can be spotted. They look vaguely human, but their faces are quite different. They have large eyes with no apparent pupils, just color. And they do not seem to have mouths. They look like small trees themselves, with roots for feet and bark-like green skin. Their hair consists of smooth vines that are styled much like primative humans might wear.

Many look up as Taylita and Gohan fly over, and a few even wave up at Taylita. She waves down to them, but continues on. When they reach the monastery, it is obvious that the people of Corlan build to maintain the forest. Rather than trees being cut down, they have been shaped so that stairs work their way up the trunks. High above, platforms have been woven into canopy, and atop them classes of monks in training are going about their daily routines. And, Gohan might notice why Taylita is so opposed to clothing. Not a single Corlanian wears anything more than a necklace or other such accessories.
Gohan     Gohan smiles again, nodding. "That makes sense. I had to stay away from Earth for a long while to protect my mom," he says. Not that it matters now, luckily. Earth is no longer a hotly contested commodity. He launches into the air behind Taylita, allowing his mind to wander as they move toward the monastery. He still had a decision to make in regards to his standing within the factions. Did he remain a Confederate, attempt to defect to the Union? Or did he strike it out on his own. Perhaps further down the road, things would become clearer to him. But for now, things were unclear. As the natives become visible, he smirks. "Interesting people," he calls to the woman in front of him, increasing his speed to draw even with her, "So alien, and yet somehow familiar at the same time. They seem to have just walked out of the trees, like they're part of them. It's so fascinating!" He waves down at them as well, hoping to assauge any discomfort they might feel toward him. He's not sure what sort of people they are, only having Taylita to judge from, but he wants to try anyway.

As the monastery comes into view, Gohan stops, blinking. "It's... so organic," he says, breathing deeply, "It's incredible... what a place to grow up in..." As he looks around, he crosses his arms again. "No wonder you always seem to lose your clothes," he says after a moment with a blush.
Taylita      Taylita nods. "I know! Pretty cool, right?" she says of Gohan's comment about the Corlanians. His comment about her clothes makes her smirk. "Hey, usually it isn't my fault. It isn't like I just strip in the middle of town." she says, her smirk turning to a slight grin as she sees Gohan blush. "I didn't mind going without, but people kept making a fuss whenever I'd show up without them."

Taylita doesn't fly up to the platforms above. Instead she starts up the stairs. The rhythmic sounds of dozens of students practicing can be heard above. Once they reach the top of the stairs, Gohan would be able to see the actual monastery. The platform leads into a dense canopy with larger Corlanians meditating inside of an obvious temple made in the same way as the rest of the building. Tree branches and trunks have been coaxed into forming beams and pillars and flooring. There is no roof, allowing the bright sunlight to flow in. As they approach, one of the largest of the Corlanian monks stands and turns toward them. He wears nothing except a set of leafy shoulderpads and a golden circlet.

"Taylita." he says in a deep voice with the sounds of creaking wood in the background. Taylita immediately bows, bending at the waist and lowering to one knee. "Master." she says reverently. She stays bowed as the monk looks over at Gohan. "Have you brought a new student?" he asks.
Gohan     Gohan nods. "Really cool. There are a lot of people on Earth, different peoples, but nothing like them. And they seem almost untouched by outside influence." He cocks an eyebrow at the Saiyan, smirking sidelong. "It's your life I suppose. But you tend to use it just to distract me in combat," he says, recalling the time he took both Serori and Taylita on in a fight. His ears burn, but he keeps a straight face.

Following her lead, Gohan lands and walks up the stairs, his legs moving fluidly up to the monastery. The monks in training hold his interest for a moment. That was a path he could consider, after all. Maybe. He was still fairly young. Maybe he could tap into latent human-based powers by turning inward, to enhance his Saiyan strength. If the Corlanian training didn't pan out, he'd consider that, but he was hoping to add this training to his sizable repetoire.

One of the monks turns to face them as they enter the room. The sheer gravity of his voice, and the fact that Taylita drops into a bow, conveys that he is a master before Taylita speaks the word. He mimics her, but keeps his head up to face the master Corlanian. "My name is Son Gohan, sir," he says, "I was hoping to recieve tutelage in your arts, yes."
Taylita      The master places a hand on Taylita's head, and both close their eyes for a moment. But, only a moment. The master then regards Gohan, one eyebrow raised. "Son Gohan, I am Master Scral Torraz, head monk of this, the Rising Sun Temple." The large tree man bows lightly, though not nearly as much as Taylita. Taylita stands as her master rises back to full height. He looks over at her, then back at Gohan. "Since Taylita's journey to Earth, we at the temple have been curious to see what sort of beings she might find. The last visitors we had were...less than friendly." he says, then starts to walk around Gohan, his footsteps heavy with the weight of his dense body. The root-like toes that circle his elephantine feet dig into the soil that has been brought from the forest floor up to this temple. "You have a strong lifeforce." he says as he comes back around in front of Gohan. He stands in front of Gohan, tall and calm. "Why is it you seek our training?"
Gohan     Gohan remains kneeling as Scral circles him, feeling the gravity of the Corlanian master around him. As the master returns in front of him, Gohan draws to his full height, looking up to meet Scral's eyes. "I have power already, yes, but I need focus. My mind is so scattered that reigning in my power is a struggle at times. I've seen Taylita in battle, and her style is so much more controlled than mine. I wish to see if I can control the deep well of strength still inside, and I believe your training is what would move me toward that goal."

He pauses, then continues. "Beyond that, I am hoping that through training I will find the path I seek for the future."
Taylita      Master Scral seems somewhat satisfied with that answer, but not quite convinced. "It is always good to learn control, but why is it you seek strength? For what goal do you fight?" he continues. Taylita looks over at Gohan expectantly. From her expression, controlled though it is, it is obvious that Gohan's answer may decide if he will be accepted as a pupil. She is silent, knowing that Gohan has to come up with the answer himself.
Gohan     Gohan closes his eyes. Taylita, brutalized by Kakarot, immediately springs into his mind. "That's simple, Master Scral," he says. He opens his eyes, and they seem to shine as they look at Scral. "I need more power to protect those I care about. Taylita, and all my other friends. My people, both races. My mother. I need the clarity and strength to make sure I can keep them safe."
Taylita      Master Scral lets out what is best described as a deep, pleased rumbling sound. "Very well. We will evaluate you for a place among our students." he says. Taylita smiles brightly and gives Gohan a spirited clap on the back. "That was great, Gohan!" she says happily.
Master Scral chuckles at Taylita's enthusiasm. "It was the only answer that we would take." he says, then reaches a large hand out to Gohan, fingers outstretched with the palm down. He looks at Gohan, expecting the same gesture. "Tomorrow, you may begin your training. Your first task will be to spend the entire day in meditation. Choose a spot, assume the meditation pose, and then...you must not move beyond breathing for the entire day. Our style depends on one being able to focus completely. Your meditation should focus on inner peace. The power to contain your emotions and your body's natural responses. You must become like a tree."

Taylita hees. "I had to do that when I first came here. Do you know how hard it is for a saiyan kid to sit still for an entire day?"
Gohan     Gohan's body seems to ease a bit as Scral rumbles, and he realizes that he's made the correct choice. It was exactly what he meant, though. He needed the strength to defend Taylita and the others, unwilling to let what happened to the Saiyan woman next to him happen again. As she slaps his back, he smiles nervously. However, before he can respond to her, he mimics Master Scral's gesture. As he explains the first step of his training, Gohan nods. "No movement aside from breathing. Okay. I will accomplish this task, Master."

He inclines his head, then sinks into a full kneel. "Thank you for the opportunity. I will not let you down." He pulls himself back to his feet, then smiles over at Taylita. "I have a few things I can meditate on. I should eat a big meal tonight then, so I can focus entirely on this task."
Taylita      Master Scral reaches forward when Gohan holds his hand out, and their fingers mesh for a moment like branches of neighboring trees. He then lowers his hand. "Yes, you should eat a good meal. As you are not Corlanian, I expect the full day of meditation will be harder on you than on one of us. However, completing it will gain you the respect of the other students and masters."

The master starts toward the spot he was in when they arrived. "Remember, your day will begin as soon as the sun rises. Use the night wisely." Master Scral says before he goes still, facing away from Gohan and Taylita. One could easily mistake him for part of the temple once he is still and silent.
Gohan     Gohan nods, then rises again, glancing over toward Taylita. "I have all the motivation I need for this training with me already," he says, "I will eat a meal and rest, and be ready at sunrise. Your planet is so lush and peaceful, finding a place will be an easy matter. Thank you again, Master." He inclines his head, then turns to Taylita, smiling at her. "Well, I suppose we should head back to the ship, then. Time is ticking, right?" He pauses for a moment, then steps forward and rests a hand on her shoulder.

"I hope one day to be a fraction the person you are. Perhaps there is still hope for me."
Taylita      Taylita blinks at Gohan's words, and actually looks away a bit shyly. "Wh-what are you talking about? You're already at least a fraction of the person I am." she says, brushing her hair out of her eyes. She looks back toward Gohan, then regains her composure. "But...only a small fraction, of course!" she says, as if to regain her proud appearance. She smiles, then reaches to rest a hand on Gohan's shoulder. "Don't worry. There is plenty of hope for you. If someone like Vegeta can show a glimmer of goodness, you must have tons of goodness to spare."

She then heads back toward the stairs and takes them back down to the ground. Then, her aura flares and she takes to the skies. "Try to keep up!"
Gohan     The halfbreed smirks, moving his hand away from her again. "I've done things I'm not proud of, but this... this is something I am proud of. Thank you, Taylita. For not giving up on me." He turns away, ears burning intensely. Her snarky tone comes back, though, and he eases up a bit more. "Yeah. Vegeta showing signs of genuine concern shocked me. All I ever knew of him was his ruthlessness growing up. I guess you're right, huh?"

She takes off out of the temple, and there's a quick ignition around the halfbreed. He ascends quickly, his hair turning blonde and eyes turning green as he chases after Taylita, a gold streak in his wake. "Please!" he says, laughing, before letting himself return to normal. His speed increases, trying to match Taylita's. "I could catch you if I stayed Super Saiyan, but I'll play along!"
Taylita      Taylita hmphs at that, her saiyan pride speaking up for once. "Hey, if you think you can take me in Super Saiyan, then prove it!" she says. Her aura flares even more and she takes off as fast as she can. Which is pretty fast, but probably not Super Saiyan speed. Of course, Gohan might get distracted by Taylita's tanned form flying beneath the sunny sky of Corlan.
Gohan     Gohan smirks, then flickers as his Super Saiyan form reignites. "Alright, if you insist!" he says, his voice low as he turns up the speed. He ratchets it up further, seeing himself getting closer to the leading Saiyan. As they pass under a sunbeam, his speed seems to slow, the sight of Taylita's well-tanned form in the bright sun causing him to flush a bit. He ramps his speed back up, but he doesn't seem too eager to catch her all of a sudden.
Taylita      Taylita is unaware of why she is winning, she just knows she is winning! She races back toward the ship, and in less than a minute, they are back at her ship. She lands almost atop it, then turns quickly to face Gohan. "Haha! Told you even in that form you couldn't keep up with me!" she says, hands on her hips. She opens the door to the ship, then gestures inside. "After you, Mr. Super Saiyan." she says, smirking lightly.
Gohan     There's a snap of energy as Gohan's aura burns away, leaving him with bright gold hair and shining green eyes without the aura to cloud them. He stares up at Taylita, blushing slightly. "If I weren't a man with a pulse I could've caught you," he says, scratching the back of his head. She was able to distract him incredibly easily without even noticing. As she opens the ship, he stretches and leads the way back inside. "Yeah, yeah," he says, sounding mock-grumpy.
Taylita      Taylita blinks, then laughs, a light blush on her cheeks. "Guys chase me all the time. None of them have caught me yet." she says, teasing Gohan playfully. She follows him into the ship, then closes the door. "My food stores are well stocked, and the forest has plenty of fruits and things to eat, so you shouldn't have any problems fueling up. Don't forget to drink water before you go out. Sitting all day in the sun is pretty harsh before you've learned to absorb the solar energy."

She looks Gohan and his gold hair over, then smiles just a bit. "Someone told me I probably can't go Super Saiyan because of how guarded my emotions are. You're kinda lucky you didn't start here." she says, then motions to a nearby door. "There's a bed in there you can use. You better load up and get some sleep."
Gohan     Gohan chuckles, turning his eyes toward her. "You're an elusive one," he says, "Maybe one day I'll catch you, though." He offers a small smirk. What did he mean there? He stretches again, then sets about raiding Taylita's food stores. "I'll get some food here, then maybe grab some fruit when looking for a spot to meditate. And water's a good idea too, yeah," he says, "Solar energy... I wonder what that would do to my Super Saiyan form if I could combine the two..." He rustles around the stores, listening to Taylita and straightening up as she speaks about Super Saiyan. "So... where I need focus, you need to learn to let go a bit," he says, "Maybe I can help with that in return for this."

As she mentions the bed, he rolls his shoulders again. "You have another one on the ship, right? I don't want to put you out by stealing your bed."
Taylita      Taylita just hees at Gohan's response. "Remember, you can't eat or drink once the sun is up. And, no, there isn't another bed. But, I'm used to not having a bed. I grew up here. The Corlanians don't use beds. They sleep standing up. So, I got used to sleeping on the soft ground. Don't worry. I'll be fine for one night." she says, patting Gohan on the shoulders. "You sleep in beds all the time. You'd better use mine if you want to make it through the day."
Gohan     It was true that Gohan usually had access to a bed, and it would be more comfortable, but he shakes his head. "No way," he says, "Not gonna let you give up your sleeping quarters for me. You take the bed and I'll prop against the wall." He closes his hand, meeting her eyes. "I can handle sleeping on the ground too. Vegeta used to make me sleep in the grav chamber, so I can sleep pretty much anywhere." He smirks. "Or we could share," he adds, taking a sip of water.
Taylita      Taylita rolls her eyes and smiles ever so lightly as Gohan plays the noble card. She considers a few snarky remarks, but decides she's teased Gohan enough. "Fine. Sleep wherever you want." she says, then hits the button to open the door to her room before pausing. "Well, anywhere except my bed." she adds with a giggle. "At least now, you're used to heavy gravities. I bet you hardly noticed that the gravity here is about twice that of Earth." she says as she steps into her room. "Oh, and if you hear the shower running, don't even think of peeking." She gives a teasing wink, then hits the close button and with a little swishing sound the door closes, leaving Gohan with his food and his thoughts.
Gohan     Gohan tried his hand at teasing, but Taylita is just more of an expert. And as she speaks, his jaw hangs open a bit. She had not only taken him up on his noble offer, but shut him down with teasing of her own. He recovers, but she's already on the move. "Oh come on," he says, rolling his eyes and laughing. "I'm not that much of a creep. I'll leave you to your privacy," he says, then moves toward the wall opposite her door. "Good night, Taylita," he says, though only after the door closes behind her. With a pink flush across his face, he sets to fueling up for the day ahead.
