Na`Sabal-Une Fang      Returning to the forest might be slightly jarring. In the short time that they were away from it, the forest has darkened tremendously, even places where it should be bright and sunny are utterly blotted out and dark. The only place with much light is the faerie village, and the places that Nasa has marked with those alchemical torches -- and even those seem to shine less brightly than before. Still, Nasa is waiting for the group of people at that slightly less damaged house once more.

As she waits, Nasa is carefully taking care of her two sets of blades, slowly and carefully oiling and ensuring that Erel'Avin is properly cleaned off at present, ensuring her Abstractum is in tip-top shape at present, even if she doesn't intend to use her unless necessary. When people arrive, Nasa carefully sheathes the two sets of blades, attaching them to her belt as she lifts a hand to brush some of her hair out of her face, watching to see who all would return.
Guest Lizbet     Lizbet arrives! She's flying a bit slower today, due to the lowered visibility. She doesn't want to run into anything! But, eventually, she reaches the fae village, and once again shifts her armour to its jet mode, standing astride it like a hoverboard or something.
Kirika     Kirika arrives pretty quickly, the glow of a light spell iluminating her way as she makes her way up to Nasa. She slowly approaches the faeelf, and she bows reverently. "Good evening." she says, nodding to Lizbet as well. Her tail swishes side to side, and she awaits others.
Beli Klum     Beli hasn't been here yet, so she wouldn't have noticed the shift in the forest. She is, however, easily one of the brightest people here, by virtue of the soft white glow of her marble skin. As conservatively as she dresses, it's still enough to make her blatantly obvious in the dark forest.

As she walks up to the house, her wings and halos currently absent, she looks around at the forest to try and get a sense of what might be going on here. While not exactly sensitive to the supernatural, unholy aspects seem to consistently trigger her angelic half into tension and discomfort whenever she's around them. Is that what's happening to this forest?

The rephaite's expression shifts from concern to a soft smile once she sees Nasa, offering a nod of greeting once she stops near the fae. "Good to see you again, Nasa," she greets in her soft voice with its ringing like soft bells and rumbling like an active volcano. "I am sorry I was not able to come last time, but...I hope things proceed well this time." Beli also greets the others here, smiling softly and nodding to each in turn.
Amalthea     The new, miasma-like darkness of the forest is broken briefly. The dim flickering, butterfly flutter, of a soft green seashell light. A faint shimmering flutter illuminating the silvery figure of the metal-plated mythic that seems to simply emerge from the darkness. Inky blackness sloughing off Amalthea like water off a duck, the unicorn paces forward without a single word for a good, long, moment. Before she finally decides to simply announce:
    "I am here now."
Maya SO here Maya was once more hopefully she'd not have anything try to turn her into a tree or some sort of Dryad this time. Still dealing with fair folk you never know she she was on her guard but hopefully she would be of use to help Nasa today, as almost always hewr hait's tied up with a hair band and the long blue hair rest upon the rifle slung across her back fror the moment.

"Sorry if I'm a bit late."
Na`Sabal-Une Fang      Nasa smiles softly towards Lizbet as she approaches, giving a small bow of her head towards her. "Hopes trip was not too difficult in dark, the forest is ... wrong." Nasa murmurs softly, her gaze slowly shifting around briefly. She steps a little closer to Lizbet, offering her shoulder towards her to perch on if she wished to again.

Kirika is given a welcoming bow of Nasa's head, and Nasa shifts a little bit. "Vendui<Hello>, Kirika. Uhm. A... appreciates you for what you did to doing last time. It did help Nasa overcome seeing Amaya like that." She mumbles, absently scratching at her cheek. She wasn't entirely sure what to say or do otherwise though. Awkwardfaerie!

Beli would feel somewhat heavy unholy energy in the forest, and if she had any sense of the light side of the forest, it was flickering and ephemeral. The forest had physical signs of its corruption too, once-green plants seem to have grown dark, and will o' the wisps seem to float here and there, only to disappear again when someone tries to look at them directly. So her angelic side was probably very uncomfortable! Not to mention the utter lack of life beyond Nasa and the others, not a single chirp, not a rustle in the grasses, nothing. It was quiet and still, as if the forest was dead.

Nasa, meanwhile, smiles softly. "Understands your world keeps you busy, Beli. Is glad to see you here today." Nasa says, stepping towards Beli to briefly give her a somewhat awkward hug. She still liked them, but it did go against /everything/ she had been taught growing up. "The drow of underdark did horrible things last time. After we are done, will do report which will illuminate what did happen last time." She murmurs softly. "But short story of is that old teachers did summon undead and was unpleasant."

And then there is a brilliant Unicorn walking through the miasma and approaching, speaking! Gasp! Nasa tips her head in a bow towards Amalthea at her arrival. "Is good to see you again, Amalthea. Hopes that you do to enjoy observing." Nasa says. Finally, Maya arrived, and Nasa lifts her hand to wave towards her. "Nau, is naut late. You are just in time, we are going to get going almost immediately."

Nasa takes a deep breath, before murmuring once more, "As last time, to naut trust what you do to see in forest, if you do to see someone from your past or anything of the sort, is probably naut true and just illusion." Nasa says, before turning towards the forest, beginning to make her way towards the forest's edge, waving towards the party to follow her.

The trip back to where they were before is relatively uneventful, much of it was the same, including the large animal monster on the path that Nasa calmly walks through. And still, those illusions would plague the party. Out of the corners of their eyes, familiar shapes, people lost, maybe even events that had happened... but the moment they look towards it, it's gone. Once they were in the clearing, the miasma seemed to thicken further, hinting at the fact they were getting closer to the source of the corruption...
Guest Lizbet     Lizbet steps from her jet-armour onto Nasa's shoulder. She scrambles a bit to get a steady footing, curling her fingers slightly into Nasa's hair as she leans against the side of the fae's head. With a wave of her hand, the jet-armour vanishes in a brilliant flash of light - and with another wave, her four Options appear with similar flashes.

She nods to everyone present. Amalathea and Beli are both greeted with a simple "Captain."
Kirika     "Captains." Kirika greets Beli and Amalthea both, before she offers Nasa a reassuring smile. "It was no problem, it's the least I could do at the time, Nasa. I'm just happy you're alright." She bows her head again. THe kitsune had spent the rest of the night the last time everyone came here helping Nasa say her goodbyes and bury Amaya's body.

As the group begins their venture, kirika is alert, her light shining the whole time as her footsteps lightly carry her down the path. The illusions will not daunt Kirika this time, and she carries on calmly as she steels herself for memories of the past.
Amalthea     "Whether or not I take enjoyment in seeing you succeed or fail is irrelevant. All that matters is everything you say and do from this point on." Again, it's a brusque, almost cold reply from the unicorn. However she has every reason for such; being asked for a Wish is no trifling matter, and she must keep a watchful eye to see of Na`sa is worthy of the immense gift she asks for.
Nevertheless, Amalthea dips her horn lightly in greeting to Kirika, Beli, Maya, and Lizbet. Before the light of her horn goes out, and the only sign that she is still present is the clear gleam of one endlessly deep, blue, eye in the darkness.
Beli Klum     The hug is returned; Beli doesn't seem to mind any awkwardness. How long did it take her to get used to pleasant physical contact, anyway? She'd be the last person to be upset at someone being unused to hugs.

"Sometimes, yes," she replies softly before stepping back and looking around at the forest again. After a moment, her six black wings spread from her back and become sheathed in a cyan sheen, and those three black halos emerge behind her head with blue flames floating in their centers. "...probably a good idea I was able to come this time," she murmurs, that frown settling over her features again.

Kirika and Lizbet get her attention again with their greetings. Beli can't help but grin before she responds. "Please, just Beli is fine, both of you. But thank you."

Once Nasa explains the situation, the rephaite gives a brief nod of understanding before following along after her down the path. Now and then, though, she's given pause; her frown shifts aside to where she thinks she sees something...but no, it's gone. At least she hopes it is.

"Exactly how far is it to the source," Beli asks, a faint note of tension creeping into her voice.
Maya Maya looks to Nasa and waves she grins for a moment but clearly is on her guard she nods for a moment.

"I like nature but I don't want to be a peamate fixture you know?"

Seriously that was ... a new one on her and that's saying something given how long she's been in the multiverse. She look to Beli, Amalthea, Kirkar and Lizbet.

"GFood to see all of you again."

She watche as Beli does much as she does, that being seemingly not keen on titles.
Na`Sabal-Une Fang      Nasa shifts her hand up to help steady Lizbet until she had a steady balance on her shoulder, her movements having subconsciously shifted to avoid moving her shoulder too much when she was walking, to aid in Lizbet's balance. Possibly from having other small people on her shoulder in the past? Who knows.

"Is still appreciated, Kirika, even if was not problem." Nasa says with a very slight nod towards Kirika, pausing so that she was walking more or less in step with the woman. She takes a slow breath as she walks beside Kirika, her eyes flitting here and there. Her mind was resistant to illusions. Luckily, this time, the party had evaded any illusions that were too jarring, it seemed.

Amalthea's response was a bit unnerving, to be completely honest. Which Nasa voices, "That is to being slightly terrifying concept to think on." Nasa mumbles softly as she steps forward towards the other edge of the clearing and into that deepening miasma. She could see well, but even the alchemical torches seemed to sputter in this darkness, flickering weakly in the darkness.

"Yeah... you being here may to being bit of help. The corruption here is to making Nasa's skin crawl..." Nasa mumbles, shifting slightly, it was like really really bad goosebumps as the corruption brushed against her magical resistance. And Nasa really did not like it. "Does have feeling your light will being very helpful here, yes." Nasa says with a firm nod towards Beli.

Nasa gives a somewhat nervous giggle at Maya's comment. "Is unlikely to happen, we would to make sure that you get out, though can not guarantee that will not to being attempted again. Faerie forest does to like to use nature to fight back and all that craziness..." Nasa murmurs, rubbing at the back of her head a bit, causing her braid to bounce a bit against her back from the movement.

Nasa took a brief moment to pause, before continuing deeper into the miasma. As it gradually thickened, it became like a black fog, making it difficult to continue forward at a fast pace, roots and vines on the ground making navigating deeper into the forest difficult. Now and then, there was a large wall of vines that had to be pressed through. The first few just seemed to be vines, however...

One of them began to twitch as they approach, and Nasa hesitates, looking at the wall of vines. "Is something there, or ... something.." Nasa murmurs, stepping towards the wall of vines, which began to writhe, coiling and braiding into itself to make itself into a more solid wall. Nasa quickly draws her kukri, approaching hesitently towards it. "...Seems something does to not want us to get to heart of forest..." Nasa mumbles, as one of the vines lashes out at her, though she managed to ~just~ barely block it from striking her. After defending against the strike, Nasa stepped back just out of its range.
Beli Klum     If Nasa feels uncomfortable, Beli certainly doesn't feel any better. She's conflicted, too: the angelic part of her loathes this place to the very core of its being, but the demonic part almost seems to revel in it. This is both a perfect home and a terrible place to be avoided at all costs. It's not a pleasant feeling.

Still, the rephaite continues forward, careful not to trip over any of the hazards along the forest floor as they pass through vines after vines...until one set of them stops them dead in their tracks.

Beli's frown is leveled toward those vines next. After taking a moment to make sure Nasa is okay, she lifts her right arm toward the vines. "I am going to hope this takes care of it," she murmurs.

Then fire flows from her hand. A blue flame, gentle and warm to her allies nearby; it won't hurt at all if they happen to touch it. The stream of fire is, instead, directed toward the vines, to see if its holy flame can scorch through them or, at least, purge them of whatever curse is bringing them to life. At least she's assuming the vines are alive due to the corruption.
Amalthea     "Good." Amalthea's voice is a whisper, coming from one way in the darkness one moment. And then somewhere else in the next.
"I want it to be. You did not ask me for some trifling favor, I will remind you." She points out.
"Let that sink in." The unicorn whispers from the darkness, holding back.
Kirika     Kirika nods to Nasa, remaining beside her as she continues. The aura drives her on edge, as the forest gets to her mroe and more. At least she isn't getting weird hallucinations of dead parents this time, just an off-feeling as she carefully avoids the vines. She draws her sword, the blade blazing hot with flames as she prepares to help with cutting through the foliage, if the vines persist in trying to keep them from continuing.
Maya Maya looks to Nasa and nods there was an attempt at humor however.

"I understand that still well we need to as you said be on our guard."

Maya's far more alert today and very much not trusting much of the forest if any of it right now. She gets the idea that it doesn't want them there or someone else. Maya doesn't feel too good either as she keep with the group.
Na`Sabal-Une Fang      "Eh-heh, did not say was bad thing, just little terrifying." Nasa says towards Amalthea, wrinkling her nose a bit. Having the one who was potentially going to grant her wish so thoroughly examining her was ... well, it was a bit unnerving still, to say the least.

Nasa opened her mouth to speak, but then Beli and Kirika both used fire. The vines immediately recoiled, and a flickering glow could be seen beyond the vines. It seemed to be pulsing now and then. However, as the fires moved... suddenly, a form flashed in front of them! She appeared almost immediately. A woman wearing largely purple clothing, with three wings sprouting from either side of her back. She was holding a small flute in one of her hands, and, most of all, she looked REALLY UPSET. "HEY! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! Do you want to burn the whole forest down?!" The forest guardian yells at Kirika and Beli, waving a chastising finger.

"I ought to--- oh crabcakes I left the shield keeping the corruption away." The guardian looks mortified as she realizes that she had acted without thinking at the sight of the fire, her eyes darting around quickly. "Muddy flipping blabbersnaps I wasn't supposed to leave the shield!" She says, fluttering around quickly as she seems to freak out, trying to figure out what to do now, perhaps?

And then the darkness seemed to coalesce on her as she lifted up into the air. She gave a surprised gasp as red lines began to streak over her skin, beginning to glow a dangerous red as her eyes began to grow distant for several long moments. The previously-grey eyes suddenly grow a deep red color, and they narrow into an unholy rage as she looks at the group before her. "You will regret coming here, tresspassers! You face the strongest fae of the forest, Guardian Orchid!" She calls out, lifting her hands. Several spears of energy form around her, wrapped around by closed flowers, that coil around the energy.

Her flute is slowly lifted to her mouth, and she takes a brief breath... before she begins to play. Magic bursts through the area, sealing the group within a crackling dome of magic. Immediately, those spears of energy are sent flying for Beli and Kirika, aiming to strike both with two spears, one aimed for each arm.

Nasa, meanwhile, steps back towards Maya. "See! Nature magic!" Nasa says uneasily, lifting her hands up into a fighting position. "To trying naut to kill her!" Nasa calls out as she begins to gather energy into her hands, sending out a shadowy tendril that grabs for the guardian's leg, beginning to work at grounding her.
Beli Klum     The fire seems to be working, but then that fairy abruptly appears in front of Beli, forcing her to stop the stream of cyan flames and stumble back in brief surprise. Confusion strikes her before she realizes that this probably isn't the force corrupting the forest. All that needs to be done is explain, right? "Ah, well, actually-"

But before she can say much, the guardian is quickly freaking out about the shield. The corruption is quick to overcome her only moments later, and Beli finds herself forced to step back warily as those spears appear next. This...just got much more troublesome.

The moment those spears fly out at her and Kirika, Beli thrusts her right hand out again, putting up a sphere of solid golden light around herself and the half-kitsune. It's incredibly sturdy despite appearances, so that should stop the spears cold against its surface and, hopefully, give Kirika an opening to rush in.

Beli strains, teeth clenched against the effort of holding up the shield. "Go!" she shouts to Kirika. The fox-woman will find herself able to simply pass through the barrier as needed.
Kirika     Kirika gulps as she is about to switch the flames off, and she tries to stammero ut something. "We did not know, I am truly sorry!" she says, attempting to bow and prostrate herself in guilt.

But then spears are flung at her. SHe takes Beli's advice and waits for the barrier to be thrown up by the angel/demon, before she begins to advance, passing through the barrier harmlessly as she sprints with great speed towards the guardian.

Sheathing her sword, she opts for her approach at less-lethal combat...which hopefully won't get her killed. The vixen lunges with a swift blow to the forest elf's head, her leg lashing out with a kick. Swords are out of the question here, not by themselves anyways...
Maya Maya she turns to see ss they have got some attention she looks to them fort a moment andf she moves to get the rifle off her back.

"Can't see the forest for the trees can you?""

Maya nods to Nasa Maya's going for a fate card and attemps to cast a barrier spell on Kirika and Beli. Hopefully it will work and give them some protection, right?

"So this is what you wish to do? We had come to help the forest but if you are so keen to fight?"

Maya's just generally not had good experiances with fair folk over her life. Still she's not taking direct hostile action yet.
Na`Sabal-Une Fang      Two layers of shielding are enough to stop the flower spears, as Maya and Beli's shields come together to stop them right in their tracks. However, upon hitting the barriers, the spears don't disappear. Instead they continue to push and struggle against it. "Hah! Barriers?! You think you can stop me with barriers?!" The corrupted guardian lifts her hands, beginning to play on her flute once more -- however the song she was playing was interrupted by that tendril tugging at her leg, causing her to dip lower in the air with a surprised little note out of her flute. Annoyance flashes in the guardian's eyes, and one of the spears disengages, turning to slice through the shadowy tendril holding her leg!

However, it did its job. It distracted the guardian long enough for Kirika to get in and strike her directly in the head, causing the forest guardian to stumble out of the air, hitting the ground rather hard! Still, she manages to recover fairly quickly, rubbing at the side of her head. "Oooh! You're going to put up an actual fight! I was getting bored! This is perfect~!" The guardian calls out, grinning suddenly as she lifts her flute to her lips. She takes a deep breath, before blowing as hard as she could into the flute, which gave off one very LOUD, sharp note.

In addition to likely being horribly painful to those with sensitive ears, the sharp note began to send out waves fo sonic energy, battering against shields and those unprotected alike, if they don't get themselves protected fast enough! Nasa's hands immediately went to her ears at this, covering them and giving a pained yelp.

Nasa wasn't going to give in though. She lifted her hand, taking a deep breath as she mumbled a likely inaudible spell. A large ball of ice appeared in front of Nasa, the edges of it wild and misshapen as she sends it flying towards the guardian. As sonic waves battered the ice, pieces of it chipped and fell off, but a roughly head-sized ball strikes the guardian, cutting off the sonic assault ~relatively~ quickly as the guardian is forced to catch her breath.
Kirika     Welp. Kirika's deaf. She moment that sonic wave hits her, she /shrieks/ in pain and shock as she's sent flying a good few yards. Knocked on her back, she groans. Blood trickles from her ears, the eardrums clearly rupured and damaged badly as she moans. Everything is a high-pitched ringing right now, as her ears will no doubt hear anything for days at least without serious medical attention.

"Nnnnngh..." Her body tries to get herself back in the air, and she narrows her eyes as she stumbles towards the Forest Guardian with sword in hand.

She doesn't get five steps without stumbling over. Yep, she's down for the moment.
Maya Maya reply to their comment about barriers.

"You do not want me fully cut lose." She can't bring more power to the barrier but it has hopefully bought her friends, time. She does not say more but she does have other spells at her command but they would likely cause devstation that Nasa would not want to see befall the forest anf she wonders about how to disbale these two as best she can.

She takes a moment to pull another card and now attemps to lay a rather nasty curse of weakness, which woudl also sap their energy upon both of the attacks, she has no idea given their nature if it will stick, work as she's used to or just fizzle out. Still away she goes and this she has other options but isn't ready to do them, and then Beli warns them to cover thier eyes so she does so.
Beli Klum     Beli, fortunately, doesn't have sensitive hearing. What's more of a problem are the spears still digging against Compassion's barrier, and the sonic waves joining in to crash into it one after another. The golden orb fractures, spiderweb cracks dancing over its surface as Beli struggles to keep it in place. Eventually, she simply can't hold it anymore, and a last wave shatters it into sparkling motes of golden dust that fade in the air around her.

Fortunately, Nasa's assault spares Beli from enduring much herself, but her allies don't seem so lucky. The main focus right now, however, is getting this guardian into a position where she can't harm them any further, and if the corruption is what's doing that, then Beli will just have to keep pouring her angelic strength into the fight.

Literally, in fact. Beli's wings give a powerful flap to interpose herself between Kirika and the guardian, then spread out wide in a dark barrier moments before she thrusts her hands forward. It's a matter of quick thinking on her part: she shouts a warning to her allies before she attacks, but Kirika's clearly not able to hear that. So Beli's positioning should keep her from being blinded as the dark forest is suddenly filled with a brilliant flash of holy white light directed straight at the guardian, paired with a swirling stream of seraphic fire to burn away the darkness corrupting the fairy in front of her.
Na`Sabal-Une Fang      Immediately upon seeing Kirika go down, Nasa stumbles her way over to her side, fumbling with one of her pouches. She quickly pulls out a small bottle of potion, luckily made of reinforced glass that didn't shatter immediately to the sonic attack. Nasa moved to lift the bottle to Kirika's lips and get her to drink a dose of the healing potion! ... It was sadly not fast enough to immediately heal her, however, it would begin to restore basic function relatively quickly -- though likely nowhere near at full functionality. Luckily for Nasa, she was similarly protected due positioning, otherwise she would be having a Very Bad Day.

Immediately after ensuring that Kirika drank some of the potion, Nasa would down some herself, because her hearing was only doing moderately better due to her covering her ears in time. Oh god did it sting and her ears were ringing, though.

Meanwhile, the Guardian began to catch her wind -- just in time to catch a weakening curse right in the ... uhm. Face? Regardless, it does, in fact, take effect! The spears of energy began to weaken, their flights slowing even as they spun. Aaand then suddenly, there was that bright, seraphic light engulfing her and everything around her. She gave a /shriek/ as she lifted her hands to cover her eyes as best as she could, even as the fire washed over her. The red lines on her body began to flicker, struggling to stay in place as her eyes shifted between red and grey behind their covering. "No! No! I will kill--stop you before you destroy the heart!" She says, her voice flickering between corruption and light.

Meanwhile, around them, the barrier began to flicker and weaken, but the guardian hadn't entirely given up. She lifts her hands, giving one last burst of energy! As the corruption fades, several more spears are sent flying towards the party... and then it ended. The guardian fell to the ground motionless, her eyes closed.

But there was an issue. Those spears had been sent flying in all directions. The trees, the ground, and the heart of the forest now had spears fading from them, and the heart of the forest that had previously been flickeringly beating, was beginning to weaken. The pulses of energy beating slower, and slower, and slower...
Maya Maya did listen to Bei's warning and hopefully she's able to endure what her comrade has done. She avoids ending up blinded thanks to the warning. She opens her eyes onc the moment is clear and she would find one of the fair folk beg them to stop. She wonders now what's going onc an these ones be saved? Somecthing clearly is messing with thier heads Maya. Maya on the other hand has spears to worry about, as she's been struck several times she's bleeding from the wounds a bit and clearly that hurt, but a moment later the spears vanish.

"Should I tend to them after I tend to us?"

She asks Nasa, it's her call after all.
Kirika     Kirika grimaces, but she takes the bottle and drinks from it. Not long after, her hearing returns as she looks at Nasa with a tired smile. "Thank you..." she croaks, before she raises up and tries to not wobble too much. The ringing in her ears lingers, but it's weakening now.

However, Kirika's somewhat out of it still. Ow. Owww.
Na`Sabal-Une Fang      "...Amalthea... does think is time for sacrifice of Most Important Thing, maybe." Nasa says softly, slowly standing, her gaze trailing down over Kirika and giving her a concerned look, hoping that potion would prove useful in helping her heal. Nasa began to walk towards the heart -- a feat proven slower by the spears of energy that had struck her legs while she was tending to Kirika. She approached slowly, both of her hands beginning to glow a brilliant green as she activates the Hand of Transferrence.
Nasa reaches to rest both of her hands on the damaged heart, her eyes sliding closed as she began to breathe slowly. "Sacrifices the power to protect for Wish." Nasa says softly, beginning to pour energy out of herself and into the heart, as the beating of the heart slowly begins to even out. She glances towards Maya with a small nod. "Yes." Nasa responds simply, letting her eyes slide closed. Kirika was going to be fine. The forest was going to be fine. The guardian would probably be fine. For once, Nasa was at more or less peace. Power could be regained even if it was sacrificed.
Amalthea     From the shadows a hand reaches forth, setting on the Fae-touched's shoulder.
"Alright that's enough of that." Amalthea murmurs, canting her head to an inquisitive angle. It's a funny noise the unicorn makes, just then. A sound not too dissimilar to the miaowing of a cat, calling her kittens, as one loppy ear goves a flit. "Really? Sacrificing your strength to protect. That is not something that can be sacrificed." She decides after a pause for a brief moment of thought.
"Tell me, Beli, if you lost everything you loved would you still fight? Kirika, if you had no arms with which to lift your blade would you not smash your foes with your skull? And Maya. If you had nothing but even the faintest glimmer of hope... Wouldn't you act on it?"
Beli Klum     Beli finally lets the outpouring stop once the guardian seems to be taken care of. Her arms drop to her sides the moment the blazing flames and light fade away; her wings droop to the ground, too, as she breathes heavily where she stands. "...well, that is something," she sighs, a little relieved that the guardian was taken care of so quickly.

She needs a minute to recover from all that, though she spends the time checking around on her allies. They seem to be holding up for the most part, but the heart of the forest...

And Nasa steps in. Beli...isn't too sure exactly what this matter is all about, but something about it feels right. To half of her, at least; the other's compliance is almost begrudging, but it doesn't really complain. The situation seems mostly cared for, though...what's Amalthea saying now?

Confusion flits over the rephaite's features as she looks from Nasa to Amalthea. She has some vague idea of what might be happening here, though, and straightens up a little, drawing her wings against her back. "...yes," she replies softly. "If I lost everything I loved, I would fight to ensure that no one else loses what they love in turn. I would continue to struggle as much as needed to protect those who may rely on me, no matter the cost."
Kirika     KIrika doesn't hear well right now, but she knows enough to nod grimly to AMalthea, then look to Nasa. "True strength is within, far deeper than merely losing a blade, or limb." She comments.
Maya Maya has had bad experiances with the fay it's true, bnut with Nasa's okay she's going to go to start to do what she can to heal the two she's pulling out a fate card and starting to focus. Pink light will come from the card she holds as blue fire bleeds into it form her body and then the aura will cover both of the fallen children of the woods, it should heal them at least enough to get them out of being in very bad condtion and Maya replies whne Amalthea is sayign. She nods once seeming to get her poing.

"The story of my liufe, your correct, before my world unified it looked hopeless even then we stormed Doskais ship attempint on the faint hope to stop him."

She doesn't bring up the other situation she thinks of she thinks it's best ot nto go there but she seems to soften a bit as she tends to the fallen defender's wounds.
Amalthea     Thusly, as the others give their answers, Amalthea snaps her fingers. "The ability to protect falls under that selfsame purview, Na`Sabal-Une Fang." The unicorn points out with a cluck. "And even diminished, it is always there. ... That said..." She trails off, peering at the fae-touched with that inquisitive look again.
"I've seen what you're willing to go through for the sake of an old, dead forest that should not be in the state it's in. I've seen the pain you've left behind here, and the triumph's of you and your allies. Now do you remember what I said?" Asked of the fae-drow, as the unicorn reaches over to lightly touch her but once with the tip of her horn, glowing that butterfly seashell green once again.
"I said you had to be willing to make the sacrifice. Never once did I say I was requiring you to actually make it."
Na`Sabal-Une Fang      A hand rested on Nasa's hand. Was she being stopped? Nasa was about to protest -- but then it turned out to be Amalthea's hand. And she spoke, telling Nasa how silly it was to sacrifice that. She opened her mouth, about to protest, but something told her just to be quiet, to listen. This was one of those times to learn. She simply gave a small nod towards Amalthea.

As Beli spoke, Nasa could definitely understand that. In a way, Nasa fought for that same reason; even if she didn't realize it. Everyone she loved had been killed, and now she fought to forget that pain and to keep others from losing that. Kirika spoke of how that was a strength that came from within and was far deeper than limbs or weapons.

Even the seemingly-hopeless still found the hope to fight and protect themselves and others. Nasa's eyes shifted back towards Amalthea, listening to her as she spoke once more. "...Understands, Nasa thinks." Nasa murmurs softly, the green glow of her Hand of Transference flickering away. "Uhm... did think, you told Nasa she did to have to actually sacrifice it." Nasa says softly. A misunderstanding, it seems! The horn touching Nasa and Amalthea's words got a soft breath. She gave a small nod, before murmuring softly, speaking slowly and carefully, "...I wish to return this forest to its proper glory, to return life and beauty that it should have back to it." Nasa murmurs softly.

And then... the Wish activated. It was subtle at first; the beating of the heart of the forest grew stronger. And stronger. And stronger. The light of the forest began to return, as the lingering corruption was banished in its entirety, removing the effects of the Drow's attack long past. Around the base of the heart, flowers began to bloom, and the Guardian is lifted by several vines, deposited next to the heart.

Green spread out in a spiral from the center, vibrant colors blooming over many of the plants as magic began to return to the forest. As light returned to the forest, several of the flowers around the base of the heart of the forest began to bloom, and settled within the center of those flowers were several small pixies. The first lives to be born in the forest, though certainly not the last. All around the faerie forest, other blooms and methods of faerie 'birth' began to happen. Nymphs rising from pools, dryads growing from trees, sidhe awakening from tree hollows and brownies coming from small homes as if waking from a long slumber. It wasn't just magical beings that came, as well. Rabbits, deer, birds, all manner of wildlife awakened and returned to the forest.

And finally, the heart of the forest's glow began to gather around Nasa, who's lips seemed to be moving wordlessly, conversing with the energy and a voice that only she could hear. And... that glow began to suffuse more fully into Nasa, who's eyes slid closed as she gave a slow exhale. Nature's energy filled her, and a small mark began to settle into place in the center of her back, between her wings. And finally, the heart speaks to those gathered there, a motherly voice ringing from within that glowing mass. ~Allies of this child of nature, today you bear witness to the birth of a guardian of nature. We hope that you will give her the same support you have today in the future. Your passion has been witnessed and we honor you, you will always be welcome within our forest. Now go. Rest. You have done a great deed today, strangers from the otherworlds.~

And then... the glow fades, and Nasa is left on her knees, her hands resting over her eyes. Once more, she had come here. And once more, Nasa was sobbing. But this time, it was not tears of sorrow. Her friends had helped her succeed in her quest, and now the forest she had called home long ago was now vibrantly beautiful once more.
